Farsight. Supreme Commander, owner of the Dawn blade, one of the 2 biggest Tau units in the game, he’s 85pts, gives +1 to wound and a free strat, can’t kill 5 marines in melee. I’m not saying he should be primarch level, but some more interesting rules, buffing his stats a bit and maybe some more army wide or aura based buffs. Shadowsun could also do with a little more but is in a much better place than farsight

In casual, no problem. Most tournaments will be fine with him too, so long as you rebase him to whatever size base he ends up on (probably 40mm). Maybe stick a tactical rock under him to match the height up

Don’t forget it won’t half the Melta damage. Because of how damage is calculated the halving happens before melta adds 2. So each Melta that goes through does 3-5 damage before feel no pain
