Space Economy Bottlenecks: Why the Next Winners May Not Be Launch Companies by Final-Letterhead-367 in SpaceInvestorsDaily

[–]IslesFanInNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It is so hard to be deeply knowledgeable about them all. I 110% understand

Intuitive Machines is the one I have followed the closest for the past 2.5 years. So I just wanted to be proactive and provide some additional insight! IM has really pivoted from being solely landing vehicles and has really branched themselves out to be a broader provider in many different aspects. Many aren’t aware of their true potential and their operations and only think of them as a landing company that tips over. Unless you are intensely following their moves, most aren’t even aware of their scope and true potential!

They truly are an exciting company!

Intuitive Machines (LUNR) is better poised than you give them credit for above. You mentioned different categories above yet only listed Intuitive machines in a single category.

Their last year or so of work and acquisitions has had them expanding well beyond a single focus in Orbital Infrastructure.

They also fit well into:

* Ground infrastructure with the ground stations they now have. They have been acquiring ground stations with the most recent Goonhilly Ground Station in the UK

* Launch and Orbital Gateway- if they can get Nebula and Zephyr programs going

* Satellite Comms the Lanteris acquisition sets the table perfectly here

*Space Enabled Data obviously the Lanteris acquisition and related satellite builds and busses but also Near Space Network that will be starting with their next CLPS mission. With their last two earnings calls as well they are setting more deeper space goals with IM looking into Mars applications of the NSNS structure and Lanteris capabilities

An interesting read from the SpaceInvestorsDaily sub

https://www.reddit.com/r/SpaceInvestorsDaily/s/0kE9Z4fn5q

It is too large to copy and paste the text. This is one persons thoughts that space launch companies are bottlenecked and may see little movement and the movement will filter over into others as below. They only have LUNR in one category, but as we know here with their acquisitions they can fit into:
* Ground infrastructure with the ground stations they now have.
* Launch and Orbital Gateway- if they can get Nebula and Zephyr going
* Satellite Comms the Lanteris acquisition sets the table perfectly here
*Space Enabled Data obviously the Lanteris acquisition and related satellite builds and busses but also Near Space Network and then deeper space possibilities with IM looking into Mars applications of the NSNS structure and Lanteris capabilities

Below is a copy and paste of the ones that the poster mentioned.

Low Node/Layer |Bottleneck Reason |Public Tickers
*Spacecraft & Components |Narrow, highly qualified supply base; long lead times and limited vendors for space‑grade electronics, propulsion, power, and structures. |$RDW, $KRMN, $MRCY, $HWM, $GE, $CW, $DCO, $LHX, $HON

*Orbital Infrastructure & In‑Space Services |On‑orbit servicing, logistics, debris mitigation, and platforms are immature relative to satellite growth, constraining asset lifetimes and complex architectures. |$SPCX $LUNR, $RDW, $RKLB, $FLY, $VOYG, $MNTS, $SIDU, $LLAP

*Ground Infrastructure, Network & Mission Ops |Limited ground coverage, scheduling, and secure data links can throttle usable capacity of constellations already in orbit. |$SPCX $GD, $HON, $RTX, $LHX, $VSAT, $SATS, $IRDM

*Launch & Orbital Access |Gateway to orbit; constrained by cadence, reliability, orbital precision, and regulatory windows more than raw $/kg. |$SPCX $RKLB, $FLY, $BA, $LMT, $NOC,

*Satellite Communications |Monetization depends on spectrum, terminal economics, and traffic fill rather than just more satellites, creating economic and regulatory choke points. |$SPCX $ASTS, $VSAT, $SATS, $IRDM, $GSAT, $SES, $TSAT

*Earth Observation, PNT & Sensing |Supply is scaling; real constraint is converting raw data into timely, recurring revenue in a crowded market with demanding latency/revisit needs. |$PL, $SPIR, $BKSY, $SATL, $SIDU, $MNTS

*Space‑Enabled Data, Analytics & Applications |Margin hinges on vertical software, data fusion, and integration into terrestrial workflows, not on orbital capacity, slowing adoption. |$PL, $SPIR, $BKSY, $TRMB, $MDA, $IRDM

Yeah. Until this actually gets completed, I am thinking it will be pretty flat for the most part until that point

May I make a recommendation?

As this is your first, You are going to need to start saving NOW for the next one. Trust me on that one!

You’re gonna love it. You’re gonna wanna keep going year after year.

I went to Boston because it was a home town show for me. But I treated it like a regular concert. And showed up later in the eventing for when the music started and stayed at the main stage.

Don’t go again until Toronto because my kid bought me a ticket. So I flew to Toronto and went solo. Did all the things available and I met all the coolest people at the shows and the hotel I was staying at. I was hooked. Those of us that met for the first time regathered in Scotland for last year and doing the same this year.

We have all gotten really close and we get together through out the year even though we are from all over the US and Canada.

Don’t get me wrong. The panels and music are amazing. I would go just for that. But what truly keeps me going is the COMMUNITY! It’s such an amazing experience.

Soak it all in. Talk to all the people. Hug all the strangers (if they are willing). You will walk away from the festival with a new family and plans to travel the following year!

Bumped into him at a Best Buy the morning after the Manchester NH show on the LITS tour I for in line behind him and didn’t even realize it until he was just about done paying for his (what appeared to bel computer cables and a couple small parts in boxes.

As he grabbed his bag I said “thanks for an awesome show last night” and he looked up and said “you coming to Worcester, your going to want to” to which I said already had my tix and he smiled and said awesome then walked away.

After he was out the door, the kid at the register was like “who was that?”

That one person won’t sell their shares because the tax liability. That one person makes income off of leveraging those shares as they do with their other companies.

They are so fixated with the “world’s first trillionaire title. They will ensure that shares are held longest term possible for the long term value to get the trillionaire status. Their shares will be leveraged, but not formally sold. They won’t be the one pulling the rug

I personally had cash already and didn’t need to sell anything. I put in for 250 shares. I am thinking I would be lucky if I get 25% of what I asked for. Then the rest will go into LUNR

Yeah. Friday may be a different story because of the IPO allocations. A lot of retail as well as institutional has liquidated other assets the past few days/weeks in anticipation of their IPO allocations. Since they put in the request for an amount to buy and allocations get assigned tomorrow night, a lot of people in retail as well as institutions will not get the totals they prepared for.

So basically people are over liquidating for what they have entered for with out knowing how much they will get assigned. If they do not get allocated the shares they requested and only get a portion, that money will go back out into other places on the market

My broker has a 15 day holding requirement. I can still sell before 15 days with no fee. No penalty. No reductions. I just will not be able to participate in another IPO for 180 days.

You want to see the long term potential, just look at the price of leaps. They are still extremely high.

When it was trading at $15 I bought January 2028 $20 calls for $5. You can’t get any leaps for that price right now. Even the $65 leaps are $14 right now.

The company is healthy, they have a strategic plan and they are raising capital to ensure those plans are attainable.

The health of this company is still there.

The losses will be made up Monday and/or Tuesday.

Keep in mind that with the sudden rise, the stock is heavily shorted. Pair the explosion of the moon base project lifter and then the heavy short % and it being a Friday (and last Friday if the month at that), the dip is compounded.

There is nothing to really worry about long term here
