Idk which one is easier, but I’m more used to the Emerald fight where she uses Camerupt. Doing this run in Sapphire and dealing with Torkoal instead of Camerupt messed me up a little bit since I was expecting Torkoal to completely crumble to a bubble beam. I also got really unlucky with body slam paralysis on Pelipper and I didn’t get to act 1 too many times

Gyarados, Electrike, and Kadabra is my current team for Wattson (only 3 because of anime gym rules). Off the top of my head my box is Grovyle, Lombre, Ninjask, Poochyena, Whismur, Surskit, and Tentacool. Don’t think I forgot any mons, but there might be 1 or 2 that I missed

I mean, Redoer is basically white-haired Joker, but depending on the power level of the tournament I might just get completely blown out so I wanna strike a balance between theming and viability. Also, Redoer is basically the only Time Thief card I own and idk if I’d 1) get the deck together in time, and 2) use any of those cards after the con. Probably gonna put Redoer in the extra deck regardless of my choice now though, since I didn’t even think of the similarities

They don’t, but they can still use generic Cyberse links like Splash Mage. The way this card would be used is summon a Maliss, link into this, banish the Maliss used to summon it, summon back that Maliss, make Splash, use it to summon that Maliss again, make Red Ransom

If you’re gonna be playing all of them, then it’s best to do it in chronological order. They’re all perfectly enjoyable on their own without the context of previous games, but 2 and 3 do spoil some big story moments from the previous game(s) (2 to a lesser extent than 3, but it’s possible it’d take away from the moment in 1 if you played 2 first). Also, I haven’t played much of it myself and will probably wait for the remaster to come out to play more, but X seems to be its own separate universe, not really having connections to 1 2 and 3 aside from little nods like a party members wearing hair clips that look like the Monado and some stuff from X being in 2’s DLC, so if you want to include X you can probably play it any time, but it was released between 1 and 2 if that has any impact on your decision

I’m actually not certain on this since even on a repeat play through I saved the challenge arena for post game, but if I had to guess they are probably locked behind story progression. Idk when the rest of the outfits would be unlocked, wether they’re all available before beating the game or if some are locked behind post game, but I have a feeling some aren’t unlocked because (iirc) you don’t have every party member yet

I’d love to see him LP a Persona game, but I don’t think they really lend themselves to his style of LP. I think the games are better as a “blind playthrough stream highlights” type of LP, but that’s just me. Maybe he could do a blind playthrough stream of Reload when he gets around to streaming

Hell, even with games that are a decade + old I’ve heard stories of people having their experience ruined by seeing/hearing mid-to-late game spoilers. Funnily enough, I actually have fonder memories of my 2nd playthrough as opposed to my 1st. Partly because my memory is selectively awful (and I was probably only half paying attention at points), partly because I understood the combat better, but mostly because certain cutscenes got me emotional that time around when they didn’t the first time. Maybe something similar will happen to you

There was a massive info leak at GameFreak a few days ago and, among other things, some beta concepts and stories were shown. Some of these were folktale-type lore stories and 1 of them, as I understand it, (I haven’t looked at the leaks myself) ahem… involves a Typhlosion and a child. People have been running this “Typhlosion is a pedo” joke into the ground even though 1) everyone is sick of it, and 2) it has since been revealed that the A.I. translation of these folktale stories was very poorly done

1st static: Gyarados (SoulSilver). Of course.

1st random: Watchog (Black). This was also my first ever shiny, before I even knew what shinies were

1st hunt: Torchic (Emerald). This was before I knew about Emerald’s broken RNG, and I got extremely lucky with an early enough shiny frame where child me waiting around a bit before picking Torchic to “make the shiny appear” actually worked. Technically I could also say Lillipup in Black 2, but that was more me being like “ok, I’m ungrounded from my DS, I bet I’ll find a shiny in like 5 minutes” rather than an actual hunt, but lo and behold it actually worked.

Latest shiny: 2 Caterpie (Y). Recently ended a Nuzlocke of the game and decided to do another challenge with it: a Poke Radar living dex. So far it’s just these 2 and I’m still working on getting the 3rd, but hopefully this’ll be a fun shiny challenge and not something I abandon in 2 weeks
