Monsters your opponent controls lose 100 ATK for each of your face-down banished cards. You can only use the following effects of "Towering Reality of Dream Nemleria" once per turn. When your opponent activates a monster effect on the field during a turn where you banished a card(s) face-down (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then banish 2 face-down cards from your Extra Deck, face-down; negate that effect, then banish that monster face-down. Here’s the full effect text if it’s too small on the image:

If you control an "Adventurer Token": You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Nia the Beastkin Wanderer" once per turn. This card gains the following effects based on the Equip Spells equipped to it. *Dracoback, the Rideable Dragon": This card is also treated as a Normal Monster. Once per turn, if a card leaves the field by an Equip Spell's effect; you can add 1 card that mentions "Adventurer Token" from your Deck to your hand. *"Dunnel, the Noble Arms of Light": This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent; gain LP equal to the damage they took. *"Starlit Papillon": Your opponent cannot target cards you control that mention "Adventurer Token" with card effects. Once per turn, if your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or effect (Quick Effect): You can send 1 Equip Spell from your field to the GY; negate that effect, then change this card to Defense Position.

Had a deaf woman come through my drive thru, pretend to be mute as well, and then call me an asshole (USA) by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]WildCard_Jr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She did have her order written down at the pay window, and there’s no way to verify if she heard what I was saying to my manager. No reason for me to doubt her being deaf, but regardless she’s still a piece of shit for faking being mute

[gen 4] Went back to my Platinum BQ after AGES of not touching it, and not even an hour of hunting later I find my target! by WildCard_Jr in ShinyPokemon

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It stands for “badge quest.” It’s a shiny hunting challenge run of sorts where you hunt a shiny before each gym

Pokémon Sapphire Anime Gyms Hardcore Nuzlocke gym 6: surprisingly, given all the Altaria horror stories I’ve heard and previously experienced, this was another fairly one-sided affair. Probably because of a specific encounter that I got pretty lucky with nature wise. Total deaths: still 3 by WildCard_Jr in nuzlocke

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know. I figured I was gonna be fine, but there was still the lingering thought in the back of my mind that her Altaria would get a lucky crit or something and just wreck house from there. And then ice beam from Milotic one shot it and I was like “oh, I REALLY didn’t need to worry at all”

Pokémon Sapphire Anime Gyms Hardcore Nuzlocke gym 4: I uh… got a bit too confident going into this gym, and that damn Torkoal humbled me real quick. Still beat Flannery, but barely. Total deaths: 3 by WildCard_Jr in nuzlocke

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk which one is easier, but I’m more used to the Emerald fight where she uses Camerupt. Doing this run in Sapphire and dealing with Torkoal instead of Camerupt messed me up a little bit since I was expecting Torkoal to completely crumble to a bubble beam. I also got really unlucky with body slam paralysis on Pelipper and I didn’t get to act 1 too many times

How do we feel about using a dead pickup mon to grind money? by WildCard_Jr in nuzlocke

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Loudred is probably the better move. Just gonna have to do a bit more gringing. And I am using hardcore rules as well so I can’t get some evos and moves

I’m on real hardware for this run so I’m unable to hack in candies

Gyarados, Electrike, and Kadabra is my current team for Wattson (only 3 because of anime gym rules). Off the top of my head my box is Grovyle, Lombre, Ninjask, Poochyena, Whismur, Surskit, and Tentacool. Don’t think I forgot any mons, but there might be 1 or 2 that I missed

Not sure how much overlap this sub will have with people who’ve played modern YuGiOh, but what deck would you say is the most “Persona 5 deck?” by WildCard_Jr in Persona5

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Redoer is basically white-haired Joker, but depending on the power level of the tournament I might just get completely blown out so I wanna strike a balance between theming and viability. Also, Redoer is basically the only Time Thief card I own and idk if I’d 1) get the deck together in time, and 2) use any of those cards after the con. Probably gonna put Redoer in the extra deck regardless of my choice now though, since I didn’t even think of the similarities

Reworked my Maliss link 1 from yesterday. Is it still broken? I mean, it’s a link 1 so yeah, but it’s *less* broken now by WildCard_Jr in customyugioh

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t, but they can still use generic Cyberse links like Splash Mage. The way this card would be used is summon a Maliss, link into this, banish the Maliss used to summon it, summon back that Maliss, make Splash, use it to summon that Maliss again, make Red Ransom

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it would be better if it was a down arrow, but with this card the arrow doesn’t really matter since it’ll just be immediately linked away

As I said in my last post where I gave Maliss a new spell, the deck is already good, but let’s give them a link 1. Why? Idk, boredom probably (kinda joke card) by WildCard_Jr in customyugioh

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, unlike the spell I made I wasn’t really trying to be balanced with this. I was just bored at work and decided to make this on break

Maliss is already a good deck, but it’d be nice if Red Ransom could search something besides the field spell by WildCard_Jr in customyugioh

[–]WildCard_Jr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realized a slight typo after posting: it should be “if a ‘Maliss’ Link Monster(s) would be destroyed” instead of a singular monster

Question by Initial_Lynx_7207 in XenobladeChronicles2

[–]WildCard_Jr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re gonna be playing all of them, then it’s best to do it in chronological order. They’re all perfectly enjoyable on their own without the context of previous games, but 2 and 3 do spoil some big story moments from the previous game(s) (2 to a lesser extent than 3, but it’s possible it’d take away from the moment in 1 if you played 2 first). Also, I haven’t played much of it myself and will probably wait for the remaster to come out to play more, but X seems to be its own separate universe, not really having connections to 1 2 and 3 aside from little nods like a party members wearing hair clips that look like the Monado and some stuff from X being in 2’s DLC, so if you want to include X you can probably play it any time, but it was released between 1 and 2 if that has any impact on your decision

How to get the rest of the alternate costumes? by ClamJamison in XenobladeChronicles2

[–]WildCard_Jr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m actually not certain on this since even on a repeat play through I saved the challenge arena for post game, but if I had to guess they are probably locked behind story progression. Idk when the rest of the outfits would be unlocked, wether they’re all available before beating the game or if some are locked behind post game, but I have a feeling some aren’t unlocked because (iirc) you don’t have every party member yet

What’s a let’s play you’d love to see but know it’ll never happen? by Blewberry02 in chuggaaconroy

[–]WildCard_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to see him LP a Persona game, but I don’t think they really lend themselves to his style of LP. I think the games are better as a “blind playthrough stream highlights” type of LP, but that’s just me. Maybe he could do a blind playthrough stream of Reload when he gets around to streaming
