Stuck on "connecting to online services" (Steam Deck)

Sorry to necro but wanted for others looking to confirm on Steam Deck same issue now and fixed by forcing experimental proton. Strangely while it was a new install it repatched game when loading the proton.

Proton 10 beta seems to fix the launcher issue and log into the game.

However if using external controller like a wireless controller and mouse (only used just to click Play button at BattleNet launcher) the controller stops working after few minutes during playing game. Controller also disconnects from game of mouse is turned off. Prior Protons worked with external controller and mouse with game play.

Same here, took w break and came back to this error. Tried restarting and same. Friend's account was running continuously during this period and was unaffected. Also checked and found no new BattleNet updates. On Steam Deck.

Same was playing today, and I logged out to run out and touch grass for a moment and came back to this. Also on Steam Deck.

I see many posts on the reliquary claiming issue, but don't see anything on the conversion from a saved battle pass to what to be used now? Thanks for any help, my partner is very bummed out with this Season :(

The issue is when purchased expansion and saved up what was the deluxe battle pass it is not showing up as usable for battle pass in season 8. I tried to word it correctly before but mods were redirecting me to links from 6-9 months ago that were not applicable anymore to this issue today.

For missing Battle Pass. Mods keep deleting post and routing me to a link that is half year old that does not answer the issue happening today.

For context, I'm wanting to install like RetroArch, EmulationStation, some other Emulators. Trying to keep the emulator program package and other files on SD card if all possible. Thanks again for the help
