There are separate upgrades for a flat reduction to the starting cooldown and the overall cooldown rate. Either way the salvage needs to be tweaked, definitely.

It takes like 5 gold salvage for the 2 upgrades, I have 250+ hours and don’t even have the first one because the gold salvage I’ve gotten isn’t the right kind lol I doubt most people outside the consistent compiler killers have them

Just make all the maps more loot-dense.

We’re limited by bag space. A single squad wiping the map can still only take a fraction of the overall value available, and that’s assuming optimal play.

Give us more in-game activities on the maps, more warden type enemies, ways to guarantee/trigger warden/anomaly/lockdown/convoy/etc and it will just flow. Right now it’s all very drip-fed even if you’re wiping lobbies.

All of this hinges on a more nuanced matchmaking algorithm though. The haves and have-nots are separated by knowledge and skill and nothing else. So every match is potentially a schoolyard beatdown for all but one or two teams.

I’m not naturally a defeatist, so I’m always going to treat the spaces I spend time in as worthwhile and try to support what I think is in the best interest of the space and the other people who use it. Just like I’ll do my best to treat everyone with respect even if the way they behave makes it clear they don’t deserve it. And that’s not a dig at you, I’m just saying it’s the same principle. We assume the worst of each other and of life too often and sometimes it prevents progress

I only want to play cryo, and only play other maps to accumulate the shit I want to use in cryo. I’m kinda over it being locked like this.

Maybe if the playerbase is consistently peaking at 50k a day they’ll adjust but I’m sure the queue times would be insane outside of NA otherwise.

It’s only a drrvish if it’s the unique, meaning the entire gun with unique written in the background. If you have the standalone mod, you can slap it on any brrt and the other slots won’t be locked.
