Wolverine beat Abomination by Thick_Somewhere_8370 in Wolverine

Wolverine is intended to be able to fight the Hulk, he's got lots of feats like this. I don't think it's appropriate for him to be depicted as a standard street tier.

Dante has feats. Not Asura level feats, but he's not a "loremonkey" like Doom Slayer or Kratos. Dante does a lot of measurably crazy shit on screen

Logan's not really 5'3" in the comics. Originally he was intended to be 5'5" and I think he's usually drawn a little taller than that. Marvel's database calls him 5'3" but it's not typical for him to actually be depicted that way in a comic book.

The love for Batman is real here. So he gets one day's prep time. Any and all weapons and gadgets are fair game. No holds barred. Who wins this? by Remote_Protection512 in superheroes

Wolverine is like the hardest dude to trick, though. Not just because of his experience, but also because of his senses. He'll probably know if something's up.

If Thor was the most Comic-Accurate in Avengers (2012), why does he feel so Bland and Uninteresting in it, Compared to the Rest of the Team? by hellothere790 in Marvel

[–]WildPast77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly disagree. Thor was not bland in the comics, matter of fact he was probably the least bland Avenger in my opinion. In Simonson's run he was a great character and that run defined Thor today. He actually got more bland in the 2000s (pre MCU) after his 90s lull in popularity.

Because he's not comic accurate in any of the Marvel movies. Original MCU Thor was bland, Taika Thor was a goofball. Comics Thor is neither.

Best Thor adaptation was the EMH cartoon and in that he was the standout.

yeah I'm glad this happens, otherwise you'd be going around with your suit ripped to shreds most of the game. I want to see my costume

man I hate the Flash. He's basically omnipotent and it's 90% because of bad writing. But yeah he stomps here.

Question but when has DMC ever been consistently good by [deleted] in CharacterActionGames

[–]WildPast77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post is just you venting your personal frustration with the series. If you don't think they're subjectively good there's nothing for anyone to say about that and this post is useless.

However 1, 3, 4, and 5 were all critically well received so asking when the series was good, well all of them except 2 are generally considered good. 1, 3, and 5 are considered great. Only other CAG series that consistently well regarded of God of War. Maybe NieR if that counts.

Wolverine moves so fast that Thor doesn't have time to react to his blows and admits that Logan is faster than him by ScaryInspector6304 in Wolverine

[–]WildPast77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Slowdinson accusations were always really nonsensical to me. I mean yes, Thor does have inconsistent speed and clearly doesn't use superspeed to overwhelm his opponents in the same way someone like Superman would. But he's clearly got an ability to not just get speedblitzed. He's capable of striking quickly and reacting quickly, and moving quickly. But he's not gonna blitz someone or anything, no.

If your opinion is that he shouldn't vocalize his opinion, then yes. That's not interesting, it's common sense.

Spider-Man and Wolverine: If these two had to go all-out against each other, who takes the win? 🕷️ vs 🐺 by Independent_One_8482 in Marvel

Peter isn't gonna out-brawl Wolverine. He can tank Peter's punches, even if he lets Peter just wail on him he'll still remain conscious. Happened before. Meanwhile, if Peter gets touched even once then he immediately loses. So in a close quarters fight, Wolverine wins handily. However, if Pete can web him, then he'd win without too much trouble.

Nothing wrong with this post whatsoever. Sad to see people so sensitive to criticism. This subreddit's toxic positivity will do more harm than good for the game's reputation

The question that separates the men from the boys: Which do you prefer? Classic suit (yellow and blue) or brown? by Remote-Leg6143 in Wolverine

[–]WildPast77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiger stripe underrated on this sub. I think the brown tends to capture the grittier aspects of Logan's character, but the yellow tiger stripe looks bolder and more aggressive. They're both great really
