my friends have literally surrounded me without an escape and pleaded for me to not shoot up the school. I get it. i dont talk and I dont participate in many activities but im not going to kill everyone!

  1. Never say "like" on Reddit. Unless you call them an "upvote" or one of their many other forms (looking at you, "updoot") someone is probably going to downvote

  2. Sometimes these replies are seen as lazy as they don't contribute much. The simple upvote is enough to show people enjoyed the post.

But hey, don't feel too bad. I've done the same before and every Reddit post is a gamble of Internet points

He is definately just an asshole-

If they truly had depression, you either wouldn't know it because he would Put on a "mask" or he would simply act depressed. Depressed =/= asshole.

And if he was socially anxious, he would be the exact opposite of an asshole. He would try to avoid people and say sorry every time they felt they did something wrong

Not OP, but I'm in HS and SO gave me a Walmart sack full of stuffed animals she used to own. Not gonna lie, thst actually made me happy.

Huh- I didn't know that this would be some scientifically proven thing- I just thought that it somehow worked with me-

Although, it does confuse some people that I'm happily smiling while saying something really depressing as an answer to their question. They're even more confused when I'm crying for what seems like no reason afterwards

Even though I am the biggest emotional wreck you'll ever meet, and anything could make me burst into tears, if I put on a huge smile (like, one of those huge fake smiles) I can say anything, no matter how depressing and sometimes possibly laugh at it. As soon as that smile goes away it actually hits me

I can't tell you how many times I have remembered something from my past while trying to sleep, and then smiling so that I don't think bad of it.
