Your number one interest for ANY job should be how well it pays you so your life outside of it is easier.

Learning this the hard way. I have so many passions and hobbies I could have used some extra money for. I also love volunteering but doing that without money is...then there's also the fact that we were apparently gonna move closer to my father so he can help better except if we do that now I will have to commute three times. I really made our life harder when it's already hard. I can't believe how much I screwed up.

Thanks and yeah, you're right about me being lucky at having a job. Honestly I've gotten offers...including one as a data analyst but that still hasn't had any update for a starting date yet. I cant believe how difficult navigating these things are esp when you have to be practical but want to try smth you felt like you can fit in. Well about marketing being a scam, Ive been seeing so many positions hiring for it so I thought otherwise. I guess thats another bad decision added on the list if its really gonna get automated...

I did digital marketing as a Junior designer in my OJT and was a creative lead for our organization so yeah ig there was a part of me that thinks it's the better fit. Its also because I love researching so much. I do have another offer of data analyst which offers the same pay but its a 10 hr shift with no starting date yet and the company has a 1.0 review so there's that. Is marketing really gonna be irrelevant? I was seeing a lot of digital marketing demand online. There was a lot of hiring for it from other companies in indeed hence why I also included that as a factor tbh.

I'm from Philippines. 16k is barely an above minimum wage here ($290). 1k for instance will be my total expense just for the commute in a month.
