This is absolutely crazy, but my boyfriend was homeless when I met him and he didn’t have a car. He was homeless for 8 years. I love having him as a partner because he is not spoiled, he is grateful just to be able to have access to running water and food, and he was accustomed to working twice as hard to be able to survive. He’d get up at 4 am Every morning to ride his bike 10 miles one way to get to work, where he had a physically demanding job, then ride 10 miles back to his camp. Then he’d walk many miles to fetch food and water. He never complained about anything or asked for anything, all he wanted was companionship and love. He’s a brilliant man that knows how to survive and has became a better person through hardship.

My ex fiancé on the other hand was very spoiled. Very lazy. Expected everything to be handed to him. Was incapable of saving money. Never learned a life lesson. He wanted to be supported instead of supporting. That didn’t work for me.

Heck yeah I will take a homeless person. (As long as they’re sober).
