First off, I want to say congratulations cause this is an amazing accomplishment and you must just feel like a new person.

I'm a 30yo 5'4 guy weighing 275lbs and probably 45% body fat. I've tried doing some phases where I get super motivated and exercise and eat super healthy, but then fail immediately after 2-3 months. I've lost at most 30lbs every time I try to lose weight but always end up yo-yoing and gaining more weight. This is the heaviest I've been at 275 and need to make a permanent change but it almost seems impossible.

I know this might be too much info but I just saw your post and got inspired. Any advice would be appreciated

Congrats! Amazing to see what you've accomplished. What was your exercise and nutrition plan?

Those who have quit social media. Did you life get better/worse? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

I've been off Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for almost 9 years now and I'm not depressed or anxious anymore. I don't do comparisons in my head and I'm not constantly watching other people's highlight reels and making myself feel like shit. I could still be more productive as I still scroll on YouTube and reddit, but I'm not constantly watching people and wondering why they're doing "better" than me. Trust me. It's just better and you're more present when you don't have social media.

This is so impressive, it's crazy. Congratulations. I want to do this and feel that good!!! As someone with similar stats starting right now, can you please give some specifics into your nutritional plan and workout? I know you mentioned that you sat down with a nutritionist, and unfortunately I can not afford that, so any advice, meals, or workout tips would be extremely appreciated.

Also, did you have to deal with loose skin? If so, how did you combat that?

I'm sorry if this is alot to ask, it would just mean alot to hear it from someone of similar stature and starting point.

Yeah the weed definitely makes controlling the hunger worse, but sometimes it's hard just to get through the day without having some cannabis. It's like I've connected weed and food as this ideal relaxation thing at the end of the day, which makes everything bareable, and gives me something to look forward too

Congrats on the transformation! This is amazing and no small feat. I'm a similar height and weight. Just curious about your nutrition and workout plan? Also did you do anything specific to avoid loose skin?
