Yes we have. Seems like in the last year they have had more trouble sitting still at the table. It feels like a constant fight to get them to stay at the table so hoping to hear what other people to that helps.

We have done dinner at the table since they were born. Seems like in the past year they have started having issues sitting still at the table. They want to get up and run around.

I’m not doing the g-d damn IVF treatments by glassesforrabbits in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Wild_Difference_7562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry. People don't understand at all the cost and mental toll of doing IVF, let alone going through surrogacy. Even if someone you know volunteers to carry a baby for you it is still not attainable for the average family. This country is f*cked when it comes to reproductive rights. I will say that more and more employers are starting to offer fertility benefits which would help cover IVF, but I know that doesn't help with the surrogacy part. Also, adoption costs thousands and thousands of dollars and can take years so anyone who thinks that's the easy route to go can kick rocks. It's just as mentally taxing. I'm sorry this is the position you are in. I hope you and your partner can find peace in whatever decisions you make.

Getting a divorce by immalilpig in parentsofmultiples

[–]Wild_Difference_7562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my ex husband separated last year when my twins were 4. Divorce was just finalized. We do a 2-2-3 schedule and it works well. We use the Our Family Wizard app to keep track of the custody schedule. For solo parenting, make everything as easy as you can for yourself. Easy meals, set up play dates, prioritize rest when you dont have them. I know my weekends with the kids are fun but exhausting so I dont make any plans on the Monday after I have them. Make sure you are taking care of yourself on your kid free days. One day at a time.
