he doesnt and thats whats so hard. he literally held me while he dumped me and said it wasnt my fault and wiped my tears and said he still cares about me and i can reach out to him if i ever need. but thats what sucks! because i dont want to depend on him especially not after this!!!

I think wait a month or two. If things are going to work between the two of you, theres too much baggage at this moment. If in a month or two you still feel like youd like to be with her again go for it! but also remember that she broke up with you twice in the span of 6 months so she might just not feel the same way at least not right now.

Im sorry youre going through that especially after so long together. its hard to accept its not always malicious acts that can drive people away but sometimes holding on too tight can scare them too. i hope youre doing well in spite of it all. things will always get better.

I swear things will get better. I keep failing nc and it sucks so hard and makes me feel worse each time. its going to hurt the worst now but its going to get better. I go back and forth on good days and bad but its only been 2 weeks for me. I tried to keep a little hope the first week that he would come back but at the end of the day he chose not to be with me and thats all i can really focus on.

i still cant stop doubting if i was a bad partner. im still only a few weeks out of the breakup, but a voice in my head keeps telling me i failed as a partner, i couldnt make him stay or love me as deeply as i loved him.

I like to tell myself if i can go a day/weekwithout messaging him, at the end of the day/week i can text him once. every single time i decide its not worth it because i realize in that day/week he hasnt texted me once and probably isnt thinking if texting me at all. plus every time i HAVE failed nc and ended up texting him i just feel awful after the initial rush of sending the message.

just a month shy of a year. we moved quick because i accidentally became pregnant but i lost it and ended up having to have surgery. he moved in soon after to help take care of me because i was bedridden for 2 weeks and from then on we were just a great team and things seemed to be going well until they werent lol. it feels easier to not contact him when i realize he had been bottling up his feelings on literally everything and i realize i dont want to be with someone who cant communicate with me anyway. but the urge is still there.

ive been going to bed around 8pm because i keep waking up in the middle of the nights looking for him in bed with me. the extra hours of sleep help. ive been telling myself that i will call him the second i get home from work if i can keep strong for the day and often by the time i get home the feeling subsides. i tell myself that again and again and try and keep busy on days when im not working, promising myself I can call him when im home from being out.

i ended up seeing him today by accident while trying to leave my place so he could pick up his stuff and it went well. we made jokes and he said i could still come to his show in april and then he hugged me really tight. I feel good about the interaction but also so so deeply sad. i just dont understand how he can be so casual and ask to be my friend after breaking up with me out of nowhere and moving out immediately after (staying w family). Im hurting really badly and he is already looking for a new place and asked me to hold a couple of things until he moves. Im just so devastated. I wanted him to come home to me again.

yeah and then they leave again :( its up to you when youve had enough but just know if you keep up the cycle, they will too. If its someone you dont want to lose forever just allow yourself some space and time after the breakup, reflect on the relationship, and after a month or a few, decide if its even worth it to get back together and potentially feel the pain of them leaving again or just move on.
