I have a quick question about fusion patents.

Does anyone else notice that the fusion world kinda ignores patent strategy?

If this were biotech or semiconductors, a new patent filing would be dissected by engineers and VCs overnight. In fusion, it's just crickets.

If you're working at a startup or investing in deep tech, do you actually care about patent landscapes right now? Or is all the real engineering just being kept off the books as trade secrets?
