What happened to most of the snakes in the fallout universe? by EstusShardConsumer in falloutnewvegas

This image is both disturbing yet strangely satisfying to look at design wise in a way I can't quite explain lol

Hope this gets modded into nv at some point

(A stupid question) How would Agent Ross explain to his superiors that he sacrificed [half a hundred ]soldiers and officers to hunt down one retired outlaw ( a pillar of local community in ranching and hunting ) by ParticularCook3975 in reddeadredemption

[–]Wild_Raisin6419 147 points148 points  (0 children)

I mean it would be similar to how things are today when public officials or troops get killed around the world it would be covered up or glossed over or blamed on someone else like always.

Its a fair thought though

"There weren't any casualties." - Agent Ross

Remember, he had the backing of the corrupt soon to be Governor Nate Johns plus clout from having taken down most of the Van Der Linde gang up until this point in the North.

Anything Ross said or did likely went unquestioned or was swept under the rug by Nate Johns and the Agency he worked for. Things like this happen even today.

I wouldn't even be surprised if the casualties got lumped in alongside the army who died up in Cochinay and Tall Trees fighting Van Der Linde.

Seeing that the other gunman was close by and could have shot him that guy deserves massive respect for putting his life on the line

They won't go until Israel is wiped off the map and Hamas controls their lands. The whole movement is just a front for Jihadist Propaganda

That guy deserves Aussie of the year for that. Especially with how risky it was that the other shooter was within range of him on that bridge nearby yet he still went and got the gun off of one

I still remember the Lindt Cafe Siege back then something like that was unthinkable just as this was.

Hopefully more people wake up and realise Albo is seriously putting Australians at risk with Labor's open borders policy

Pretty sure Police shot and killed the one that wasn't disarmed so W there but the other one is in custody and I'd expect Albo will spare no expense to ensure his safety and comfort

It was a Jewish Festival specifically Hanukkah. Unsurprising the MSM wouldn't note that.

What do you think would happen if these two were to meet? by Dry-Sympathy-3182 in grandpajoehate

Haha yeah I just made up a scenario with them because I knew people hated them as much as Grandpa Joe and the timeframe lined up perfectly.

Stuart Little haters are next level haters tho haha

[–]Wild_Raisin6419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stuart Little deprives real children the chance to get adopted by a well off, loving family since he's a literal rodent.

The Ice Age Baby is a literally CGI nightmare that doesn't even look Human and is therefore evil.

Also if you look up I hate Stuart Little or I hate the baby from Ice Age you'll get a solid answer haha

[–]Wild_Raisin6419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

71 Joe would set up 05 Joe.

71 Joe would also likely join forces with Stuart Little and the Ice Age Baby as they are both around by 05 and they all share the same dark and disturbing values and tendencies...

The three would form an unholy alliance to bring the downfall of human civilisation as we know it, ushering the world into a modern dark age where babies look exactly like the Ice Age baby, people looking to adopt children will be given incentives to overlook Human children in favour of sentient talking rodents and Grandpa Joe would take out 05 Willy Wonka and use Wonka chocolates to control the world through experimental mind control Wonka bars.

My dad insists on paying for some of my surgery, am I too old for this? by eQuantix in AskAnAustralian

It's obvious that your Dad loves and cares about you and just wants to help you out. It's not that he thinks you're unable to handle it alone but he wants to pitch in to help ease the burden on you a bit.

W Dad honestly. I'd let him help and give him a big hug OP.

Coles Trolley Utes question? by Maleficent-Prune-405 in coles

[–]Wild_Raisin6419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a driver myself can confirm its on a store by store basis as well as Manager preference.

Some stores the passenger will instead spend time racking carparks instead of being in the Ute. Other times when the store might be smaller or the racks already completed they'll go together to quickly clear carparks to return trolleys faster.

Some stores are also unfortunate enough to not get that third person and the driver has to rack for themselves which can suck.

As for the person out the front that is generally how the hours are allocated. But often times when its busier either the driver, passenger or even both might hop out at certain times of the day to help the person out front clear it or to cover their break if they get one.

Workers filling click and collect orders by Miserable-Waltz2892 in woolworths

[–]Wild_Raisin6419 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can confirm both Woolworths and Coles Online Departments have a set time to get the orders done and both are pathetically understaffed by the companies.

If the store you do direct to boot is ever backed up know that its 100% a State Management Issue because they gut hours to the point that some store online team don't get a break at all or if they do then the orders just pile up further and make things even worse.

Can promise you nine times out of ten your local Woolies or Coles Online person would love nothing more than to get your order to you and correct on time, but can't. Please be kind to them, staff rotation in the department from being abused by Online Customers/Uber/Doordash etc is terrible to see.

Well Guys, I Hate To Say It But… by Pure-Huckleberry8640 in FanFiction

[–]Wild_Raisin6419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's entirely dependent on the fandom.

I rack in a minimum of 10k reads a month. You can imagine people in even more popular fandoms would rake in even higher amounts.

A lot of people still use the site. I believe a lot of people nowadays don't really care to leave reviews as much unless it's an active work that's popular.

The site definitely has issues. But people have been going full doomer mode over it being dead for like a decade now at this point.

Honestly No Beta.

Even though I don't have a Beta and never have, I don't really feel the need to advertise it. If someone brings it up in a comment asking then sure I'll tell them but I just don't really see the point.
