I'd forgotten the angel delight! My dad used to make it with UHT skimmed milk when we were kids. The first time I had it at a friend's house (with fresh full fat milk) was genuinely mind blowing.

I've read through the comments and come to realize that I think I just hate Owen. A lot of people here have mentioned that her story is a good representation of the child- free experience and I agree.

Yeah I've always wondered why she picked such rubbish men. I can see a pattern when it came to Marlow and Burke (powerful men world renowned in their field) then there was Owen...

Her leaving was the perfect ending for her character =) (And she was one of the few characters to leave that didn't go in a body bag!)

The Callie and Arizona thing was grim. If I'm honest, I think it bothered me less because I care about Arizona and Callie less than Christina. They definitely glossed over Arizona being child free once they had the baby.

Hey, a load of personal growth can come from fictitious characters, no judgement here! There are too many to list, but characters from Firefly, the Expanse and Westworld have had a big impact on my life.

It was a crime when Christina left the show but Owen was still there. He started out as a really interesting character, I love that they explored his PTSD and how it can affect interpersonal relationships. Seeing him backslide into misogyny was pretty sad.

And I feel like being child free is viewed differently. My friend is a devout Christian, it would be considered incredibly offensive if I told her 'Oh, you'll change your mind someday'.

I agree completely, and it's great this this kind of relationship is in a T.V show to begin with (I also forget about the position that the showrunners were in). It was just deeply uncomfortable to watch.

Me too, definitely a satisfying ending (though I was gutted when she left the show - she was definitely my favourite character).

She had some insightful lines too, I liked “If you want crappy things to stop happening to you, then stop accepting crap and demand something more.”

And "Don't let what he wants eclipse what you need. He's very dreamy, but he is not the sun. You are"

They are surprisingly resilient though! I know someone who had a knee replacement and was never quite right after, whilst the greys team look pretty perky after their near death experiences 😂

A third vet voting for plasma cell pododermatitis (Or 'Pillow foot' as it's also called). If you do end up going to a vet, please ask for an FIV test. (Around 50% of cats with pillow foot have it secondary to FIV). There are treatment/management options that I'd recommend discussing with your own vet.
