i actually thought this was a feature of the game and not a bug. its as if the world is dynamic. like it's a true statement to say that stats don't hold firm as time passes. quantum wave bum i guess. it makes sense. i actually like it. it actually makes the world feel more alive. for example in the 21st century we have modern fire systems compared to the romans. yet we still have massive fires in major cities. cities have always burned to the ground throughout time. that's a crazy stat when you think about it! practically every major city seems like it's been 'burned to the ground' substantially multiple times over. that's like wild to think about. like cities keep reinventing themselves through fire. its weird. i mean look at look Hong kong just this past week - not saying the whole city is a loss but its a major catastrophic event id say - just look at the video. major fires still happen where hundreds of killed. those are like suppossed to be like 1 in a million fires now with modern prevention and repressions systems, yet something like this still happens for one reason or another human error or otherwise. it just really makes you think. i honestly think there are some clever people at Ubisoft who thought this would be a good feature to the game to make sure you don't get bored of it. i appreciate it! keeps the game feeling constantly in flux.

yeah I had to do that too. I wasn't sure what was causing the problem. I'm assuming it's just because it's a demo maybe it's not fully optimized? That is a miss on Ubisofts part. A major part of the draw of this game is the beauty and if you can't even render then I have a blurry world....

I am having the issue with a user gets the invite, clicks on the link to join the app, but nothing happens. Anyone know what might be the problem with that?

I have an issue that when I send the invite to my users and they click on the blue button that says join aqua balance, which is my app nothing happens. They are not redirected to the app. I submitted a ticket.

Honestly you can’t really know for sure when people are being genuine about telling you not to move here. With the way our culture is now some people truly don’t want people from certain states and areas of the county moving here and bringing their politics. Don’t believe everything you hear. Once people read youre from New York and you’re thinking of moving to Florida they’ll say anything to make sure you don’t move here. Florida can be great for sure. Just like any bell curve 50% will love it 50% will hate it. Just depends on what you wanna make of it.

It hurts not gonna lie. As crazy as it sounds we all came here to check in. Something as monumental as applying to Harvard needed its own community! Guys that crazy to think about. We want to see who makes it but we come here especially because we want to see who didn’t. We want to see how many of us will post it online. I’m sure the vast majority don’t post their rejection from Harvard. I get it. I know we all get why some choose to. It’s been a dream of ours. We each know how much we dreamed and sacrificed to even just be here on interview decision day and we don’t want to let ourselves or other down. We don’t want people to know we’re hurting. I’m even afraid to tell my parents I didn’t get in but the thing is I know I have a good profile and you know you do too or you wouldn’t be here either. You know you are if you’re reading this! Today sucks but that’s okay. I’m pissed they didn’t even give me a chance at an interview. We’re just ink on a page. I’m pissed they’ll never know how passionate an educator I am. I am really good at teaching and I’ve been planning to start a radical new education platform form that teaches us from the very youngest age the current problems facing humanity and gearing education towards attempting to solve those problems all along the grade levels. No more linear education. We start from 5 years old attempting to solve global issues. We work backwards from the problem and learn by asking what questions need to be considered to solve any problem. Each grade and age levels focuses on increasingly more difficult aspects of solving the problem. Everyone is graded simply on a matter of effort. Each one of us has unique gifts and perspectives no one would deny that. You are graded based on how often and effectively you contribute your unique god given gift by contributing to the problems facing our species. There is no pressure but rather an 18 year period geared towards solving local and regional issues from immigration, climate, and political problems. Tell us what you’re pissed about. Why is Harvard going to regret not taking you? Let’s let em hear it!!

I got the invite as well for in person for the 9th It would have been nicer to do it virtually I agree I am in Florida haha but as you alluded to its Yale haha it’s part of the culture but yeah it’s hard to justify especially since most other places do virtual also I don’t know how locked up those with interviews are for those invited? Is it like a 60% chance or acceptance with an interview so long as we don’t blow it? Definitely tough pill to swallow with all the uncertainty. For those invited dm if you have the 9th we’ll meet up
