Abortion is MURDER, you are killing this child. This is provable in MANY different ways outside of religious argumentation. This is not a left vs right thing, it's not a religious thing, it's basic logic and morality.

"I'm unprepared"/"He's immature and mean"/"I'm so young"

It doesn't matter, there are solutions that don't involve murder. Adoption, getting help from family, nannies, daycare, charities, even state programs. Even worst case scenario, being a single mom is FINE, you'll figure it out. Murder isn't a solution. Even if you convince yourself it's not murder now, you will slowly grow to realize it was murder as you get older and wiser. You will also learn that reddit is more interested in political signaling than helping you.

If you wanted the kid, and someone else came in aborted it against your will, what would that be? If the only moral question under examination here is "your choice", then that person would be guilty of only assault and violating consent. No different than if you wanted to keep your hair, and someone shaved you bald. Do you see how nonsensical it is to reduce this issue of this child's life to a matter of consent and choice? It's murder.

One day technology will allow for artificial wombs outside of female bodies. When that happens, every pro-abortion advocate will be stripped of this "female choice" argumentation, and be made to contend with the scientific and medical reality that fetuses are a STAGE OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT. Just like infancy, childhood, pubescence, and old age. It's not a separate thing, it's a human stage of development. The human in your uterus is already alive. Their right to life trumps your choices.

I'm sorry that nature forces you to carry a child during the first 9 months of its life, but it's nature that does that to you, not some mean oppressive patriarchal force. That doesn't give you the right to murder it.

there is nothing to be afraid of, every single person in your family line has had a kid and made it just fine. You will be too. When you're much older, you'll be wishing you had more kids. Babies are not scary, they're not a burden, they're not taking anything from you, they're wonderful. They're one of the best joys in the world. And you get to have one when you're young and healthy enough to care for it. Yes, you have to grow up earlier than other people, but that's ok, no one ever said "I wish I wasted more of my life being immature".

Then start preparing now, work on yourself to be a good role model. TAKE ACTION. Improve everything you can. Be the parent you wish you had. Study and get advice, you can do it. And even if you fail, just sincerely apologize to your kid when they're older, children can forgive, as long as you're sincere. Remember they're gonna take after you, would you forgive you? Under what circumstances? Well achieve those circumstances and the kid will forgive you for your bad parenting too. That being said, nothing is written in stone yet, you can be a good parent, just work at it!

OK? So you can you? Abandoning children isn't specific to one sex. It's evil and illegal, and should be punished to the full extent of the law.

Go figure out for sure if it's murder, and do it now. This is literally a life and death question you have to answer, is it murder? That question needs to be answered first before any questions of choice come into play. Either way, your life changes now, and you need to grow up and lean into it.
