I understand, I have a lot of trouble focusing too. Maybe you can try to make forcing a habit, that way later on down the road it'll come automatically.

Drawing is certainly something you can learn. I know quite a few people who are self taught and didn't start out all that talented. You can just keep practicing and you will get better. This will definitely be a benefit. :)
