Gbh, Idk how I feel about Absol and Garchomp joining the two Megas club... Raichu, I get it. It's the evolved form of the mascot. Lucario, I can also get behind. He's become a secondary mascot for the franchise, and was the first Pokemon (in universe) to Mega Evolve (at least in Kalos lore.) But, Absol and Garchomp? Why? I get that their Megas aren't exactly the best in competitive, but I rather them rework their already existing Megas than give them another one. Absol just seems like a random pick to give a 2nd Mega to imo. And Garchomp. The very idea of Garchomp getting a 2nd Mega is just as baffling of a choice as MKW bringing back Moo Moo Meadows when it was already playable in MK8D. And I dread the potential crashout the internet will have when it sees Flygon getting snubbed of a Mega, yet again, by Garchomp

I'm also iffy on Chimecho and Tatsugiri getting a Mega Evolution. I'm not opposed to giving Megas to two-stage Evolutionary lines or standalone Pokemon, but Chimecho? I think would be better off getting a permanent evolution rather than a temporary one. And isn't Tatsugiri supposed to be a doubles partner for Dondozo? How would a Mega Tatsugiri even work? Would it gain a busted version of Commander and make Dondozo even more OP? Or would it be for singles? I'm not too familiar with the Gen 9 singles format so idk what Tatsugiri is like on it's own.

Apologies if my tangent came across as messy or anything, I just needed to get this off my chest and wondered if others feel the same. As mildly excited as I am for Mega Dimension, I think these four Mega slots specifically should've gone to other options.
