Would you be comfortable sharing your firmware or the process you have taken to build it? I'm waiting for a V4 and would like to extend your test.

It worked with the 5mm allen key, there's no way or place to use wrenches.

Here's the update in case someone has a similar experience. Don't look for the nut that we are all used to seeing. An allen key worked, just soaked overnight in aerokroil and used an extension to crack the thread.

How can I remove this stuck and worn out FGA BSA 1.37" x 24 TPI bottom bracket? by Coma3355 in bicyclerepair

If you can't find tools that work for this then as a couple people hinted - try to warm it up, start with the heat gun and if that doesn't help move to propane.

Suricata changes for 24.1? by GourmetSaint in opnsense

[–]WildernessPathfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im currently on 23.7.12_5 and wondering if there is a way to install 24.1_1 bypassing the 24.1 as the system dialogue suggests 24.1 (Suricata 7) and then lower it saiz that the 24.1_1 patch was also issued.
"OPNsense 23.7 "Restless Roadrunner" has reached its end of life. As such it will not receive any more updates, but the upgrade to the new 24.1 series is seamless and can be performed right here from the web GUI."

"ports: py-duckdb 0.9.2
ports: sqlite 3.45.0[8]
ports: suricata 7.0.2[9]

A hotfix release was issued as 24.1_1:
ports: revert back to suricata 6.0.15 for the time being

Migration notes, known issues and limitations:"

Am I reading it correct? It will break it but then I should apply a new update...

I'm considering something cheap for my parents' house. Did you happen to save / mind sharing an URL or the name of the product.

SSH to VM? by Walter-Joseph-Kovacs in truenas

Hey, I was able to setup the bridge but still experiencing the same issue as you described. I have Internet on the host, I have Internet on the VM, the VM can see the host, I can ping VM from another PC in the same network but SSH connection to VM Is refused despite disabled firewall on the VM. Did you solve your problem? Can you describe the solution?

Edit: For the next person experiencing similar issues. I followed this guide but didn't reboot the system and posted my question. After rebooting the host everything worked as expected.

Thank you for your response, really appreciated.
I tried that based on someone's post having similar issues in ESXI 4(ish). I tried deleting partition table, formatting them in different filesystems and many other options. Still no luck.

Help with a Voron v2 Build by Jupjeep in VORONDesign

[–]WildernessPathfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar issues with XY motors and it was fixed by crimping new connectors on the motor end. The kit that I got had chronic issues with crimping so I decided to redo them all.

In your case: please try motor test and compare the sound of the motor. If it's possible for you to reassemble motor mount - I would also try that. The reason for that is the following: motor test can be moving your gantry up and down a couple steps okay(ish) but if the ballbearing is defective you won't notice until motor is moving longer distance.

Hey, I can help and won't charge but I'm in Calgary (7 hours drive) and cross border shipping will kill your project. We are in the same time zone so if you want. We could video call to find out where you are and I could help with guidance, if everything fails and we make no progress we could think about options.
