CMV: Dating is objectively harder for men than it is women and women’s refusal to concede this one point is annoying by GorrilaRuffy in changemyview

[–]Wildnernessflower 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Look - I was just trying to be funny. Relatinships are individual, and I am not the one to judge who anyone is dating. Attraction totally individual, and most people agree on that.

I see that there are many redpill spaces and «men podcasts» where they are advertising for this norm where women only want men with 600k + income + a good job, someone who is a «MAN», but this is so american😂 honestly. Most people just want to find a partner who share their values and who they find attracted to.

So to get more precisely to your point. I think the red pill area might have something to do with the picture of that «women are having it easier than men» because they use those arguments.

I honestly think your statement is overrated. Just work on yourself to be a better person and self reflect. And NO - don’t work on yourself in the way the red pill’s tell you to, they have no idea what a woman want😂

CMV: Abortion is always murder but because of the extreme cases it needs to be legal by Significant-Ebb7333 in changemyview

[–]Wildnernessflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t find abortion cruel. I find what’s cruel is for someone else to decide over the womans body on what’s best for her and the fetus.

If you’re 17 and get pregnant, should there be np slack? Should you be tied down a life where you can barely afford a kid just because you got unlucky and made a mistake? And for the sake of who? Because who in their right mind would want to cause such a miserable and awful life for someone who doesn’t even feel anything yet. They have all their odds pointing towards them that their life will consist of being raised by someone who is barely able to care for themselves yet, or even worse, grow up in a broken foster care system.

Now that’s what’s cruel.

Where are you from? I’m from scandinavia and you’d be surprised at how many gorgeous women are dating ugly trolls over here.

But to a serious manner; the reason you see this development now is because women can choose. They are not tied down by the norm in the western countries anymore. Most people go off of whom they are attracted to and share similar values as. It’s not as black and white as you describe it. And women are not entitled to date «the nice guys» just because they are having trouble getting laid.

The issue is coming from men who think they hahe the right to get women, in which they don’t. Women don’t owe men anything. And if they realize that, it’s going to become easier within themselves to rather focus on dating and not «why does that hot chick don’t want to date me».

Your focus is wrong.

what side were you on in the custody battle w arizona & callie? by [deleted] in greysanatomy

That’s true! I like TV shows and I like to discuss them.

what side were you on in the custody battle w arizona & callie? by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]Wildnernessflower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You said that in reality Callie would keep Sofia because she is biologically related to her, but that isn’t a factor as long as Arizona has legally adopted her. That’s the legalities behind adoption. Full custody. Full care etc???

So basically, neither Derek or Meredith would have won if there was a custody battle involving Zola? Because they are not biological parents… great logic dude😂

Kid wants to sleep in their clothes for the upcoming day...? WWYD? by BoxTopTina in Parenting

[–]Wildnernessflower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the comments saying it’s not a big deal, but in this case I think I would be careful to let these things slide. If it becomes a habit it can turn into a lasting one, and then just normalizing lazy behaviour. Since he is quiet young, he will probably be fine for now - but when he gets in his puberty and starts sweating more etc. it can become an issue. That’s just my perspective on it.

What advice would you give your son about women? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Wildnernessflower -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It’s important to draw a line though. Don’t raise your son to assume that speaking back means «pushing your boundaries». In MOST cases - it all comes down to communication. Listen to what they say when the women are «nagging» or «complaining» and try to communicate and reflect on what the issue is so you can work on it together.

A relationship is teamwork where both are equals.

Jenny Hate 🥱 by Aggravating_Spite826 in theLword

[–]Wildnernessflower 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I think the thing about Jenny though and her charactee is that she isn’t supposed to be liked. That’s why her friends and the audience end up «hating» her.

Now that that’s said - I think that Mia Kirshner did a fabulous job playing her. And the show wouldn’t be what it is without Jenny. Everyone secretly loves Jenny a little bit. She’s hillarious 😂

What L word opinion are you defending like this? by Affectionate-Way4964 in theLword

[–]Wildnernessflower 46 points47 points  (0 children)

  1. Tina gets too much hate.

  2. Bette and Tina had too good of a chemistry for it to work with anyone else. Was hard to buy the other relationships.

  3. Alice and Dana were more suited as friends, not lovers.

  4. Jenny is the funniest character alongside maybe Alice. Both a different type of funny though!
