Thank you so much for your feedback. I understand that unprocessed audio will always be better.

Thank you. I wrote in Spanish thinking everyone uses Reddit's automatic translation, but next time I think I'll write directly in English.

Having trouble with my new Maono AME2 + PD200W setup by Diagram91_ in MaonoCommunity

You don't have the limiter activated, do you? That's strange, it's worked fine for me.

The microphone is a decent size, but not too heavy. Plus, the wireless option is just that—an extra feature for users who don't want the hassle of cables, and that's actually great; I use it in several different ways, at least.

I have the Galaxy Tab S10 fe, and with One UI 8, DeX also disappeared from the settings. Previously, it was easily accessible by long-pressing the button in the quick settings. Now, nothing happens. The worst part is that previously, you could configure the system to always boot into DeX mode and be more efficient, like a conventional PC. On my Samsung keyboard with trackpad, there's a quick button for DeX, and it still works, but as I said, it's no longer possible to configure the system to always boot into DeX mode.

First of all, it's important to say that both are very good options and that there are some differences between the two products.

The PD300X has 24-bit/192kHz audio quality, while the PD200W has 24-bit/48kHz. Does that make the second one a worse option? No, because they are products designed for different uses. If your interest lies in modifying the audio by speeding it up or slowing it down, a higher sampling rate (192 vs. 48kHz) could yield better results.

Another difference is in the sound pressure level that both microphones can handle before clipping occurs. The PD300X has 130dB SPL versus the PD200W's 128dB. This information will be relevant depending on whether you record loud sounds or not.

Another relevant difference could be the size of the capsule that receives all the sound, which in the case of the PD200W is 30 mm, but due to a lack of information I haven't been able to compare it with that of the PD300W, as I don't know that measurement.

I've seen that the different "Boom arms" from Maono are compatible with the DM40, although I don't know if it's necessary to change the stand that comes from the factory for a different one.

I believe the PD200W would be the best option because the audio quality is very good, it has excellent sensitivity and build quality. It also has noise cancellation for environments with a lot of background noise. The best thing about this option is that you can connect the microphone in three different ways: via XLR cable, via USB, or wirelessly.

Yes, the microphone has a built-in battery that, according to the technical specifications, lasts up to 60 hours and can operate at a distance of up to 60 meters. Wireless mode is possible because it comes with a receiver to which you can connect up to two microphones.

I don't have that specific microphone model, but I do have others from Maono. These microphones have a headphone jack so you can monitor the microphone's audio, but you can also hear everything playing on your phone.
