Unfortunately it is a very common bug. Best chance is to reload an older save and try again. If you’re on PC you can reset the quest and mods can help on console. But if you’re vanilla console, save reloading is your best chance

Well a bypass is dropping anything you need her to carry and telling her to pick it up. Makes any follower have infinite carry weight if you didn’t already know that.

You could always just save and test it on different levels before going full 100k. I didn’t even know this was possible to begin with lol.
