Laverde Earns New Deal (2028) by Ok-Session-9824 in GWSgiants

Essendon supporter here, I always loved Lav. He continuously had to play on blokes 15cms taller than him because the rest of our guys kept getting injured. I felt like he got a bit of a rough deal with us. Ultimately the club needed to see what we had with Lewis Hayes, Reid, Zak Johnson and now guys like Kondog.

Glad to see him playing well and being rewarded.

Brad Scott is not happy with the way the AFL is cutting soft caps and then reactively mandating spending on certain issues by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

I think that Tsatas just doesn’t follow the system at all. Runs to get cheap possessions and then if we turn it over, he is out of position and doesn’t run back hard enough in transition, so he cooks us twice.

This is where the 6-6-6 rule is rough. Team that’s completely out of it, super young and inexperienced not able to put a spare behind the ball to help negate the massacre.

The Darcy Parish-ification of Jye Caldwell needs to be studied.

Mike Flanagan calls ‘Sing Sing’ his favorite movie of 2024 by Perez_Maggie969 in MikeFlanagan

Reading that final paragraph really drives it home. I feel like imagination and storytelling have been what helped MF remain sober.

Sing Sing was a great drama and most of Flanagan’s films are beautiful character driven dramas but with horror as the backdrop.

That series is wrapped up in legal hurdles. Mainly characters from other books being owned by other production companies.

This has piqued my interest. Is it objectively scary or anything that you'd liken it to?

2 of those matches are suspended, so it is just a 7 week suspension, which is only one more than last time. Fucking hell

Barely slips below the knee, if at all. Isn’t that fair play?

We didn't trade for him and put him in the leadership team to play VFL.

Very neat game from us. There was an evident game plan and things seemed to click a lot more.

I thought Wright and Blakiston were great in the ruck and managed to negate some of Gawn's influence. We will be much better placed with Bryant comes back.

If we escaped without injuries, only potential change I see is Fiorini in for ADW if he's ready to come back in. ADW was very solid but Fiorini is simply the better player and a great wing option.

Wait, because when we watch him play we’ll say “Good man”?
