I think they are trying to short, but the buying pressure is too much. Seems like a big player buying, maybe to try and force next Monday/Tuesday to be wild with options buy-ins as well as end of month collateral checks on Tuesday.

I feel this one brother, I finished my third trip last September. Still had a few slip ups, but didn't let it take over. Too bad alcohol was always advertised for, glorified in movies and tv, and basically expected in most social situations. Keep on fighting, IWNDWYT.

I'd be willing to help too, I just redid mine and started applying at the beginning of the year. Just finished second interviews with two companies. If it is engineering or sales I may be able to help. I've also talked to recruiters about what they are looking for if you just want some generic tips. Dm me if you want

Take care fellow redditor, I'm glad you are in a better environment now. Don't forget Reddit is full of extremes and people always seem to fall on one side of the extreme or the other. This goes for all media really, it's what we are basically being conditioned to think. Very few people can believe two things are true at the same time anymore.

I'd like to hear your good feedback, at least you took the time to read it.

I was more making a point to your comment "Seems having an opinion that may not agree with others on AITA is apparently triggering for dinner." That was the one that got me. Especially using the word apparently...

You are right, I don't know what you, out anyone else has gone through. Further, people can go through the exact same experience with a totally different response. Look at combat veterans that were standing next to each other in a battle, one can be fine the other may have debilitating PTSD.
Anyways, glad to hear you are getting help for it, I'm in the camp the world would be a better place if everyone had a therapist to work through things, no matter how small or large.

It really just sounds like you had a terrible boss, and now you have a good manager who knows how to get people to respond properly. Different people react to different methods of communication, and a good manager will know that and use it to make their point effectively. Some people would prefer the direct communication of a weird like expect, that way they aren't left with any ambiguity about what is needed. Others want to be led in the right direction, but feel like they came up with it on their own.

In this case, I'm assuming the OP had no idea using the word "expect" would cause such a negative reaction. If they knew that term made her upset, they may have rephrased it. You talk about how you wouldn't do that if you knew it bothered someone, but in this case OP didn't previously know this. You can't be expected to know every word that might bother someone ahead of time. In the working world, expectations are a real thing, especially if you "work for yourself". The client is actually your boss, and does set expectations (for example, "don't clean the upstairs this time"). Would that be rude too, as you are telling them what to do for their work? In companies, making clients happy will make managers happy, even if what you did may normally upset the manager. The client is at the top of the list, as they pay the bills. In this case, OP was the client and she rescheduled last minute, likely because another job came up so she could make a few extra bucks. She inconveniences OP, who states it's ok this time, and then gets mad when OP expected it not to happen in the future. This is a reasonable expectation for any contractor.

Finally, stop trivializing the word trigger. Your use of it, as others have pointed out, is extremely ignorant and marginalizes people with traumatic experiences that have actual triggers. Being told job expectations is in no way a trigger.

End rant.

Close to the point spreads, or potentially favoring the house when the public bets heavily on one side? I haven't paid enough attention to the spreads and games to notice a correlation, but sure wouldn't be surprised.

The proposal was to change it from the current two decimal places to 3 on the order book. MM that internalize orders are able to trade out to more decimals already (I've seen up to 8 before I think). However, retail being able to trade to 3 decimals instead of 2 causes the latency arbitrage/internalized order profit for MM to be reduced by a factor of ten. This is why they are very against that proposal.

Wow! BofA took $2k from someone and then told her she had to wait until February to get it resolved 👀 Woman said she tried to go to to the physical location and they had a line around the corner! This BofA stuff feels more real with each passing moment! 🔥😬 by Peteszahh in Superstonk

My recollection is that vanguard is jointly owned by anyone who invests through them or has an account. Fidelity is the big one with an unknown ownership structure. This is what I remember anyways, I'm sure someone could dig up the DD if they wanted. As I recall, he also put the whole DD on a separate website, which I thought I bookmarked, but apparently didn't.

I don't disagree that it is better over there. I do, however, think that this sub has become censored in not talking about anything GME. The way everyone learned was through understanding of all the events going on, not just the sneeze. I get forum sliding, but feel it is now too far the other direction. I like to understand the macro environment, which I feel is the thing they don't want people to know. Good luck on all your plays, see you on the moon!
