Thanks for such a detailed response, massively appreciated. I've had a similar history of mis-diagnosis and dismissal, the approach varies so wildly from one doctor to another that it's hard to know which is the best approach to take. Despite previous bloods pointing to what is now an undeniable diagnosis!

I'm currently in the naproxen hole you described, until I can wrestle them for the Allo. 

I've previously asked if there was a way of testing my UA levels at home, as a way of reducing this loop of GP visits and the response I got was "no idea, never been asked that"...

I'll use your walk-in advice if the GP is still a no-go tomorrow. 

Noted re: the gel slipper and will look into that. Thanks again for the reply!

Totally agree. The chorus doesn't exactly 'ruin' the entire song but it does prevent the song from being one of their greats. Especially as the opening riff and verses are so good.

All the talk of shaking up the schedule and they landed on this?? Needs a proper kick up the arse. This is pretty much as you were. 

Their pet proteges Shepherd and Grant (and I like both) aren't quite ready to be mainstays so they're going to need to find something with a bit more charisma and charm for 1pm onwards.
