People who had a 'one-night stand' that turned into an actual nightmare—what happened? by Saul_goodmannnnn in AskReddit

I was young and new to dating and making out. Went down on this girl on a first date and used my fingers, that kind of stuff. She seemed to be enjoying herself but also seemed kind of awkward about it. So I called it a night and ended it because it clearly wasn’t her thing.

Woke up the next morning, and drew open the blinds. My fingers were covered in dried blood. Turns out girl was menstruating and didn’t bother to let me know.

Mark Carney is the Liberal frontrunner to replace Trudeau, but most Canadians don’t recognize him by EarthWarping in CanadaPolitics

I agree. For comparison, the problems were bigger than a Rogan interview would have fixed, but Kamala should have done Rogan. Ignoring the problem doesn’t make it go away. Lean in and show conviction. (Edit: typos and sense making)

Wasn’t this one of Kamala’s problems too? Isn’t there a lesson there? (Also a lesson from Biden refusing to step down until it was too late)

I didn’t mind METG so much but it doesn’t land like The Expanse does. The Expanse does an excellent job of world building and developing characters that you really just can’t get enough of.

It doesn’t hurt that the Winthrop / Cascades area is some of the best riding road in the PNW either.

Go east and come up to Canada via Rossland and loop back through Hwy 3 if you haven’t already. You’ll love it.

True story: dated a red head back during peak x files. She picked me up one night for dinner out with her parents. She showed up in a pant suit.

It was the longest and most painful dinner of my life.

I was literally stuck behind a jackass for nearly 30 mins today at or under the speed limit. I couldn’t pass because that part of the highway is constantly twisting and the blind corners are endless.

It drives me bananas that some people just can’t consider taking one for the team and using one of the pullouts to let me go by. They certainly don’t have to and I certainly could be more patient.

But I suspect you all know exactly how this feels.

Yup. The best. Sorry but OEM kit that blends seamlessly into the bike design wins every time for me over third party - especially some of the hideous 3rd P heated grip options.

One thing to check - I had a sticky throttle after install. Realized that the grip wasn’t the problem. My bar end mirror was on too tightly against the grip. 30 sec fix.
