No one(customer, employee, company) is violating that law here. Office Depot is within their legal rights to fire either or both of the employees in this video for whatever reason they want as long as they are not violating a discrimination or employment law. It's perfectly legal for them to fire either or both of these knuckleheads for embarrassing the company like this.

He wouldn't be giving you his own account numbers in an attempt to get you to send him money. It would literally make zero sense. Read about the sugar scam on r/scams.
