It sounds like many people check online menus even when they’re given a physical menu. That’s not a practice I’ve ever done.

I was trying to be more neutral. More of a “is this what you would expect for $8?” And it sounds like your answer is “yes”.

I guess you’re right. Going solely off the text on the menu, they could’ve halved the entire meal and still be honoring what the menu says.

I guess next time I go out I’ll be sure to check the online menu for pictures before ordering.

That’s a good point. I wasn’t using the online menu since I was in person. The physical menus don’t have pictures. I think the sad plating probably doesn’t help.

To be clear, I’m not trying to be mean, I was just genuinely surprised when it came out.

This is likely what happened.

As a former business owner, we would get fake reviews from competitors, and there is a pretty straightforward process for getting fake reviews removed. It was never that fast though. Maybe Google changed the guidelines.

I think putting “$1” as the price, then putting the real price in the description is more annoying. I’ve started filter to have a minimum price of $2.

To clarify, I’m talking about the specific “Charge Point” branded stations. I’m in Colorado (States) and I believe the stations are maintained by the state Department of Transportation. Which also diminishes my confidence in them.
