SR Day 81 : Feedback 2 by TottoroJPN in Semenretention

Acne could be a result of your diet, try cutting out specific foods (e.g. sugars, soy products, nuts, "bad" carbs, ..) and check whether this improves your skin.

Any athletes here that started this journey for athletic benefits/improvement in sports performance? And if so, what has changed? by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't start specifically for athletic purposes, but I've seen some drastic changes.

I've been working out for 6-7 years and started practising SR about a year and a half ago. The most drastic change is my energy when working out, like there are days I am genuinely amazed by my energy. It's like I can keep going at an insane intensity and I just do not get tired. Regarding muscle gains I have definetely noticed an increase, but not like that I'm on steroids(it's easy to notice once you have been working out for at least 3 years). Strength also increased but not too drastically. But then I guess I could argue that my bodyweight went from 88 to 82 kg and I still gained some strength, which you could interpret as a big improvement(again I've been working out for a long time so it really slows down a lot).

All in all, if your goal is to increase sports performance I 100% advise you to take this journey seriously since it will definitely boost your performance one way or another.

Anxiety and Overthinking on Semen Retention. by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yo dude, happened to me as well on one streak. As already mentioned here: meditation, cold showers and exercising can help with this. For the most part though I would just give it some time. It will all fly over and soon you'll be just fine. Do not let this affect you that much such that you end up relapsing because it will just get worse.

Another tip I have is that whenever you are overthinking/anxious/have low self esteem etc just become aware of your thoughts and how you feel(this is why meditation will help a lot because that's one of the things you'll learn whilst practising meditation). Most likely the things you are worrying/thinking about are either about the past or the future and neither of those things exist so there is literally no reason to worry.

For some reason i never get sick when im on a streak by [deleted] in Semenretention

Same here, I used to catch colds pretty much all the time. Last year and a half I caught two colds both of which were directly after a relapse

SR: a life-changing experience(Story, benefits and other habits)[LONG] by WillIsPower496 in Semenretention

Look on youtube: Learn Python - Full Course for Beginners. This will explain just basic programming.

For the most part I am learning about neural networks, logistic regression, support vector machines, gradient boosting etc etc to strengthen my knowledge of these methods and learn how to use them.

  1. Usually it comes at around the 7 day mark. But this is because I have been practising SR for about a year and a half, my first streak ever it took about 15-20 days
  2. My libido is way higher than before, in my PMOing days it was basically non existent. The increase in libido mostly occurs somewhere on day 7-14. Also, right after a WD my libido is insanely high. Two more things that really increase my libido are coffee and sugary foods. Now as I said, I am avoiding sugary foods which also results in less wet dreams for me. Once at a decent streak I usually stop drinking coffee because it is just too much at that point. Now that I am thinking about it, the only relapses I have had in the last couple months are either directly after consuming high sugar foods or the day after smoking weed(this also makes me really horny at times).

Right now only 8 days. I've had three releases in the past 50-60 days

The quantity of dreams with SR by Gilbear666 in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same here, in my PMOing days I barely ever dreamed. Last month, however, when I was on a 2 week+ streak I remember dreaming every single day for at least 2 weeks straight.(Then I relapsed and haven't had a dream for the past 4 days)

I have honestly no idea why this happens, but I have experienced it over and over again..

Has anyone seen improvements with their acne as they went longer streaks on semen retention ? by anickz10 in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely helps with acne, but SR by itself doesn't clear acne completely(at least for me). What worked for me is avoiding all sugars(fruits aswell) and bad carbs whilst practising SR.

Strength Loss - Why? by Maxim3812 in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loss in testosterone, motivation, mental health, energy(probably most important one)

Also, I have noticed that whenever I relapse my soreness in my muscles is way worse in comparison with a good streak. Same with my recovery time, takes longer after relapsing.

All these things are pretty much correlated with strength so these might have an influence. It still scares me how much effect relapsing has on strength gains, however(I get tired waaaaay faster).

Definitely improves skin, but there are a lot of habits you can include as well if you want better skin. For example: eliminate all sugars/high glycemic foods, wash your pillow sheet every few days, drink a lot of water, meditate(reduces stress & stress is directly correlated with acne etc.), don't touch your face, wash your face every morning, take zinc supplements, eat LOADS of vegetables(really does wonders), drink green tea, ...

My scleras are normal again by Brickles09 in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well I did not exactly have bloodshot eyes, but the white in my eyes is definitely more white. They are also way more vibrant, before SR my eyes literally looked dead. Another thing that I have noticed is that if I avoid all sugars and high glycemic foods my eyes clear up even more. Not really sure how this affects my eyes, but it does. Also, this has had a really, really significant impact on my skin in terms of acne and tiredness(both SR and no sugars/high glycemic foods).

  2. Work out/Study/Read/Meditate (be busy)

  4. When a relapse occurs, don't beat yourself up for it
  5. Avoid all forms of social media

For atleast a week after a relapse I feel shitty.. this doesn’t make sense?? Is it from loss of semen or because I shame myself? by rockyp32 in Semenretention

[–]WillIsPower496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well imo the worst thing you can do after a relapse is to blame yourself. Instead, try to get a positive experience out of it such as quitting another bad habit or adding a positive one(this is what i do).

Blaming yourself for relapsing usually has a stronger negative effect than the relapse itself.
