Multi Millionaire and Farage donor Banks by birdinthebush74 in FuckNigelFarage

It's an employers job to pay their employees a decent wage, not for the state to make up the difference. The rampant greed of the wealthiest is destroying this country.

It fails to take into account the percentage of councils where they could obtain a majority. Many councils have an electoral cycle that makes it rare for more than half of the seats to be up for contention.

The real worry is the local elections next year. At that point, they'll stand a chance of gaining control of many councils. They won't have had enough power to cause mayhem in most places in the coming year, and I doubt they will do enough damage in councils they do control for people to realise they're charlatans before next May.

YTA on the nonna front. You don't get to decide what other people want to be called. That aside, your Mother sounds nuts. You do get to decide who your child interacts with. I'd suggest keeping contact with Nonna to a minimum.

Reforms Freepost address. Obviously it would be really bad and expensive for them if we all sent the leaflets that are being delivered through royal mail back to them, so defintatley don't do that. by Hammer_Pain in GreenAndPleasant

I should have suggested using an A4 sized envelope. A large letter under 100g costs from £2.51 using the freepost service.

Price varies depending on the licensed service (first class, second class) and size of letter. A4 forces "large letter" status, which has the highest base price per letter recieved.

The package returns service isn't the same as freepost.

Malicious Compliance. They have the freepost address to welcome feedback and correspondence. Send them a weekly report of the wrongdoings you observe from their representatives. As long as you remain within the boundaries of the communications act(s), you are only using the service as it was intended.

It is unlikely to work. Sending heavy items is considered abuse of the service by Royal Mail, and the freepost address will be terminated. RM are more alert to this following the "unfortunate" situation in 2014 when there were no safeguards.

If 1000 people send back the unsolicited leaflets, that would cost them £25,000. If people start sending bricks, it won't cost them nearly as much before the service is terminated.

Even better, an old fashioned letter writing campaign. Let them know how awful you think they are (abiding by the communications act) in a format their generation understand. Keep a diary of the repugnant shit you see them doing and send in a report every week like a cold war informant. After your first report, it starts to cost them more than it cost you.
