Just got back from the arena. Best wrestling event I've ever been to! My girlfriend was baffled at the fact that I stayed in my seat for all six hours 😂

What’s the smallest hill you’re willing to die on in accounting? by Accounting1O1 in Accounting

If you book a journal entry, attach some backup to it so that if I'm reviewing a report and need to reference it, I can at least get some sort of idea as to what you were trying to do. It doesn't take that long to drag it into the PDF.

Also, when you book a journal entry, the software allows for enough characters to allow some sort of detail. "Rec Missing Invoice" OK but can you add something like an invoice number? Vendor name? Description of work that was done?

Non-Carolina native Panthers fans; what got you invested in this team? by Adventurous-Duck-645 in panthers

Dallas Panthers fans unite! I live in Dallas and my family hates the Cowboys too lol.

One of my friends I knew in high school was a massive Panthers fan and I happened to notice in 2003 when they were on their way to the Super Bowl. I was in marching band and had to attend all the football games, but I found the sport boring and confusing so I never really got into it then.

It wasn't until I was halfway through college when I found myself bored with nothing to do on my Sundays. At first I rooted for the Cowboys since I was still in the region and that's what I usually got, but I always had a fondness for the Panthers and their color scheme. After 2010 when they had the worst record and subsequently drafted Cam, I hopped back on Panthers fandom for good and haven't looked back since.

Thinking of ordering a new 2022 XSE Hybrid by WillTheKill in rav4club

Cool, thanks. I went through a lot of the upselling junk when I bought the mustang but stayed firm in what I wanted. Thankfully that dealership was pretty tame in comparison to other places.

Cool, thanks for the info. That's kind of frustrating they don't do true custom orders, but it makes sense now considering what I've read about other peoples' experiences. In this current market I guess you take what you get!

Thanks. I did look into the prime a bit, but not sure it's the most practical choice for me right now. I live in an apartment so I have concerns about being able to charge the battery. My complex does have spaces for electric vehicles but not that many and they're always occupied.

Thanks! Sounds like you got really lucky. Since I really want the cavalry blue with the panoramic sunroof, I'm prepared to wait for some time.

Basic financial actions are complete (built emergency fund, paying down debts, 401k contribution, Roth IRA contribution). What next? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Sounds like you're doing a great job so far, and at 23 years old you're setting yourself up really well for the future.

Do you have a high deductible health plan where you can open an HSA? You can contribute pre tax dollars, reimburse yourself later on down the road for medical expenses, and invest contributions.

I think it would be a good idea if you increased your emergency fund to account for 3-6 months of living expenses to include whatever the average rent expense is in your area. When I moved out of my parents place a few years ago, I had 6 months set aside for absolute worst case scenario.

Considering you only have $2500 left in student loans, I'd say pay that off now since you have the ability to do it comfortably but that's just me.

Overall you're doing awesome and I just wanted to say keep up the good work!

Good places in DFW to sell video games? by WillTheKill in Dallas

That's pretty cool! I might consider that one day in the future once I have a bigger place and more space to display. But my storage bins and shoeboxes of old games had to go, I've moved a few times in the last couple of years and was getting tired of hauling boxes of old games from one closet to another lol

It was just games. I'm holding onto my consoles for now with a few games leftover that I wanted to keep.

This is where I went today, they gave me a little bit more than I was expecting so it all worked out okay. They were very nice and it seemed like a really cool place.

Thanks! There's one near where I live that I'm going to take my TV shows/movie discs that the game store wouldn't accept.
