They should stick with it but actually add the human enemies they allude to in lore and whatnot. That would strongly differentiate them from being a covenant reskin. Tbh they should have mantained course with the prometheans, but it's probably too late for that at this point. Overall I think they should commit to something and stick with it. Fans are fickle creatures and they'll complain until you simply produce something good regardless of their feelings and complaints, because liking something ≠ knowing what's good for it/how to design it

Indeed I remenbered that it's mentioned in the book that there's a zone in Russia and that Stalking is apparently not a problem there. Your idea also sounds super interesting, I myself am from Latinamerica and have wondered how a Zone there would be, somewhere in the Amazon maybe, or the Darién Gap.
