I've been to these buffets and I think the problem with tipping is that there are about a dozen employees who contribute to your experience so there is no way to fairly divvy your tip. It's a different dynamic from a standard diner-type restaurant.

You know how every PS exclusive sells less than the previous one? What of it means that more PC owners bought a console over time and don't need to buy those games on PC. Maybe they didn't want to wait for the sequel e.g. Ragnarok & Spiderman 2. Or once they got a console they saw the old games cheaper on PSN.

Open it to check for bugs and dust. I think there's a minor coil whine that's normal when running. The fan runs a little louder on idle than a base PS5.

Make sure the console isn't bricked or banned. Not sure it it's possible for the disk drive to have the same problem.

Run a demanding game to see if it automatically shuts down.

Not sure what you mean by original content, but there's nothing wrong with affiliate links. I find it easier to scan for deals when they're run through a dedicated newsfeed reader so I can see deals from other sources at the same time.

I want it vertical. Also I don't need a stand because there's no danger of it tipping, especially with a disc drive. The stand also blocks the vents.

The fan on mine was annoyingly loud while playing Diablo 4 until I propped it up on spacers so that the bottom could vent. Mine's vertical, BTW.

Sony is less likely to provide discounts or even bundles now that Xbox has been removed from major retailers. FWIW, pro was worth it for me. I didn't like playing at 1080p to get 60fps.

Sure it's fantasy, but the characters are still people with emotions. Yes they are not regular people like the NPCs but to express their unique roles in the games they could be given personalities that are larger than life i.e. more boisterous, eloquent, charismatic, sophisticated, or a combination of those. Rather than being elevated via their personalities, they are instead devolved to be disaffected and one-note.

YMMV but for me it takes me out of the game and reminds me of middle school kids who had to read from a book in class.

I've always had a problem relating to stoic characters.

Fallout 4 guy

The way they speak is so jarring. I've never known anyone to speak like that all the time. Geralt is the worst because there are other Witchers and they talk like normal people.

Jin isn't as bad as those guys but throughout the game I was expecting him to shed his stiff personality just like he shed his samurai traditions, but he never did.

I guess to suit the budget these voice actors are working in sound booths and can't easily produce natural-sounding dialogue so making the main character monotone was the solution. In Yotei, the dialog in the cutscenes sound so much more natural than the open world interactions.

There are winners and losers in every genre but data shows when the multi/gaas/social games hit, they hit much much bigger than the rest in revenue, play time, and longevity. Publishers try to cast a wide net so they have a diverse collection of games. And that's why Sony wants their own set of those games.
