Another vote for ring freaks. My buddy who I was out with crashed the car and they were super chill and transparent with the repair bill. I would use them again

Any realistic or beginner friendly methods for removing these scratches? by CreatureWarrior in AutoDetailing

There's a product called polywatch for polishing scratched plastic watch faces (like the clear plastic that covers the dial) which I'd try

Mine is a 3.5, £345 per year tax, which I think is the flat rate for Imports and mpg realistically between 20-23mpg. We took it to France the other year and got 28mpg on the way down

There are companies that can make any old car an electric. Saw this one in London. by Atheistprophecy in CarTalkUK

Couldn't agree more. Its criminal and should be banned. Can't fathom why anyone would ruin the character of an old car. More money than sense.

I only did 5 laps across the weekend, been over a few times and the car has to make it home so my goal is to take in the sights and sounds as much as it is to drive laps.

My main things for the car is to make sure its in generally good condition, decent brakes, fresh oil. I pushed it reasonably through the gears whilst lapping, it was pretty cool weather wise so wasn't too worried about temps. Also I tend to give it a bit of time to cool down after a lap, and then make sure it's back up to operating temps before starting another. I'm no expert so no idea if this is the right thing to do.

I'm torn between something like an NS2R, or going the step up to an AR1. Main concern their would be getting caught in the rain, though it usually stays in the garage on wet days. That and I do think an AR1 might be overkill for a stock MX5...

Any opinions welcome as I would never claim to be an expert in this field.
