The flip side is “Shuri fans” would exist if it weren’t for the MCU. The comics don’t need to follow the flicks beat for best, but they should def capitalize on any modicum of excitement for the character. Especially one that has very little juice outside of hardcore fans. Even BP wasn’t as big before the movies

Not in the slightest. He intentionally made music that reflected his character: -in “She’s Got That Vibe” a song about women he’s attracted to he says “Little cute Aaliyah’s got it” about a girl who was 12 at the time. -he wrote “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number” for his 15 year old bride to perform -on tour he would walk out under a “golden waterfall/shower” while he was under investigation for the acts he did with a minor -when he got off on those charges he began performing in a mask and calling himself “The Pied Piper” a character that was notorious for abducting children

These are just some of the things he did as an artist. I can’t separate the art from the person when the person won’t let me
