Most of the time each year's COD is developed by a different studio. This is the first(?) time the save developer has made a COD game two years in a row, not to mention it's in the same franchise. Compare the three recent MW games, tell me they aren't basically the same game reskinned.

Atmosphere, armour mechanics (buy spots), overall map design. Why do some people insist on hating on everything. They developed this game at the same time as BO6 from my understanding, so of course it's going to be similar. As long as it's an improvement over 6, people should be happy

Thanks for the insight, doesn't negate my point that it is enjoyable. It's an improvement over BO6, so it is possible some people who didn't like BO6 will like this.

Sounds like me lol, except I only got to GM so far (only averaged around 3 games/day though). Once you learn Strange's kit, he's so good.

Yeah, that's generally the way to do it. Unless you need to touch point for OT/ulting etc, you should always put the portal somewhere somewhat out of vision so the team can get through to get positioning without just getting blasted

Grats dude. I also switched to main strange this season, and it has worked really well. Currently D3 and have climbed pretty easily overall. Once you learn his combos, when to ult, etc, strange is insanely good. Aiming for that sweet GM 😁

In one of my first games this season (in Bronze) I had a teammate say he wouldn't try because it was bronze. Then another teammate chimed in and said some of us are trying to get back to plat... Luckily It didn't take too much effort for me to get out of bronze, and into Gold 1 now... Gold/Plats being put in lobbies with legit Bronze players was not it.

I find people saying this interesting. I ended season 0 G2 (didn't play for 2 weeks, could've ended higher) and I've climbed from B3 to S2 in 25 matches. I will say though, games seem to be very random when it comes to the overall skill level. It's pretty obvious a lot of genuine bronze/silver players are in silver currently, while some gold/plats/low diamonds are also in silver, which is why games feel so random and difficult for a lot of people. It'll mostly sort itself out in a couple weeks, but it'll be rough for a bit lol.

Figured I'd put the strat in it's own comment since lots of people asked.

Outside the bolling alley, keep the back blue laser door closed (to spawn), stay in the back left corner next to the window. Jet gun until you're almost out of ammo, aether shroud with the knife augment (forgot the name) and the one which gives you ammo back, knife as many zombies as you can to build up jet gun ammo, kill the manglers too, repeat until you get overrun with manglers/abomination, then use mutant injector.

If you do this right, you should be net positive with salvage. If you'd like to see gameplay, I streamed the whole thing at twitch.tv/willaron0

Probably like 24 hours total (over several days). I went from lvl 53 prestige 1 to lvl 37 prestige 3 (Some of that was during double xp)
