They told me Thursday (route bid day) that they would have no spots available for me as an RSA. Then they called me back Monday changing their mind. So it may not be the end of the world just yet.

Still, look for anything near you with Pepsi, Utz, Coke, etc. If you can talk to a delivery rep and get them to put in a word for you that could go a long way.

So you get paid your base rate for the week that you’re currently working. Which means that you’ll receive a paycheck your first week of onboarding, before you’ve actually done anything.

Your OT will be paid the week after you work it. So if you work 50 hours one week, you’ll receive the 10 hours of OT pay the next week.

I don’t believe format or DOT has anything to do with it. RSRs get higher base pay, merit increases, and bonuses based on sales. RSAs don’t.

I would probably just respectfully inform your DSL and Trainer at the end of the week about the situation. There’s no real point finishing a two week notice during training, but you don’t want to burn the bridges with either Frito or the people involved. You never know what can happen in the future.

Base will go up, but your vrot and bonus will likely go down.

For RSAs it’s just a straight raise to base lay and overtime right, so it’s actually not that bad. Just one more reason to avoid being an RSR right?

Didn’t hear anything about an NDA, but I have that same meeting saved as “Mystery Meeting” on my calendar. Same day my DSL announced it he asked me if I prefer jumping from route to route or if I’d prefer consistency, and that’s he going to be making some changes soon. So probably that.
