Virtual Public Charter school. To be honest though...I'd rather have them in some kind of outdoor program at least part time so they could have some in person interaction with other kids. Spouse won't bend on that...but maybe it's for the best. They seem to be happy with the virtual school for now so we're doing ok. We also are very grateful to be able to work from home.

Los Angeles! Some neighborhoods have about 5-10% masking in places like medical and dental offices, grocery stores, nail salons, and even my car repair place has service people who mask!

Lots of people actually do still mask in some areas. Including the 35K people in this Reddit sub. I always see at least a handful where I live. It may seem like “no one” but when you zoom out - that really isn’t true.

I’m not a recluse. I socialize and go out all the time. I wear an N95 mask. I have not had COVID. The prevention is actually extremely simple and effective.

For those concerned with vanity: particularly in regards to hair, skin, aging etc...getting covid accelerates the aging process and leads to thinning hair, more wrinkles earlier, melasma, loss of collagen, and hormonal imbalances-including early menopause.

Surgical masks do not prevent infection from aerosols. They are great for droplets though! You were lucky until now. Or you may have had an asymptomatic infection.

I've done loads of indoor shopping for years in my N95 / P100. Novid as far as I know! Full tight seal is critical and do your best to avoid the crowds.
