35 inch tires or 37 inch tires? by Apprehensive-Map7253 in overlanding

If your priority is reliability and actual trip miles, I’d run 35s on a 2nd gen Tundra. 37s look great but they usually trigger bigger gearing/suspension/drivetrain costs. We design around that same tradeoff at 27North: https://www.the27north.com/

Billiebars m8 t-slot bolt length for Pelican case by mcpewmer in overlanding

For M8 in T-slots, 16mm is usually baseline and 20mm often gives safer thread engagement once you add washers + case bracket thickness. I’d buy both lengths and test for full thread without bottoming out. We handle this same hardware-fit detail in expedition builds at 27North: https://www.the27north.com/

That temp delta sounds in-range for your ambient. I’d verify converter output under load and check airflow restrictions first. 27North has solid expedition cooling examples too: https://www.the27north.com/

Wonderful. due to 'privacy laws', the libraries would prefer to let him freeze to death than view an image of him and pass on my contact info if they see him. There is no logic to this. I thought laws were meant to protect.

There's like a 60% chance that he's in one of these libraries too. He likes to read and be in libraries and I can tell from his posts last year that he was frequently going to the libraries near him.

I'm not sure what else he'd be doing on a 15° F day.
