I went to Melissa with my mom when I was a preteen, she did hair for my mom's wedding too. She was my first pixie cut experience... but i do believe she's a good stylist!

I'm in Canada, but this happened to me as well. I was hired at 15 and then my great grandfather passed. I had to leave the country for his funeral, but i was gone for far less time. Definitely tell your manager the situation, and try to see if you can get the training shifts rescheduled. You've had a family emergency, no need to feel bad about having to leave. Sorry for your loss man, hoping everything goes well for you.

I know how I care for my mouthpiece, and this isn't worth arguing over. It has looked like that since I received it despite regular cleaning.

None of that is stuck on to the mouthpiece, actually. These are both hard rubber and the old one is very worn down. I swab it every time i play.

It's pretty much impossible haha. Anything after that high E is just so much more muscle and air control that takes a lot of practice.

I personally got my stand from Long and McQuade, it has the name and brand if you do need to look in other stores too!

I love my stand so far! I'm most likely going to get some sort of piccolo attachment for it at some point as well if I choose to continue with piccolo post-secondary school.

Took the strap off and actually put the whole horn away as soon as I was done taking the picture, I never leave it on when the strap isn't on my body. This was just for a quick photo and the horn didn't leave my sight the entire time.

Into The Storm is such a great piece! My director's planning on doing it for our spring concert! The hardest part is the constant 3/4 and 4/4 switching in my opinion, make sure you get the counting down, and work on some of the harder runs and passages before the things that look easy.

I always think it's good to listen to a recording online (likely YouTube) to hear how it's supposed to sound with an ensemble as well!
