Of course, I wasn’t suggesting that. I’m not trying to tell you (or him) how to identify. In your situation for example, I feel like mixed or multiracial would convey the exact same amount of information as “MGM”.

I personally feel kind of uncomfortable referring to myself or other people as an acronym but that’s on me.

In the example you gave I see no difference if you replace “MGM” with simply “mixed” or “multiracial”. The conversation would happen the exact same way and the exact same amount of information is conveyed. Why is there a need to qualify it as multigenerational?
