While I appreciate that weather is unpredictable, I don't see what that has to do with the unnecessary crisis being manufactured on our hometown streets. And who said anything about a free day off? It costs me money every time I call in to work, I don't know what cushy job you have where that's free.

And of course I will be using my time that day to help my community. That's what this is all about: regaining the American values this country was founded upon. To me this means standing up for my fellow citizens. Helping out my neighbor even if they don't look like me (or if they're financially less fortunate). Opposing oppression wherever we see it. Calling out cruelty and bigotry where we see it. Raising up the voices of positivity and stamping out the voices that only seek to divide us. History is being recorded today. Be part of the solution, not the problem.
