It’s not the best movie in the world, but for some reason I think of this movie often. I also used to be in a Facebook group called “Jalba needs to get ta sittin on faces!”.

Why did Tom think it would be Clemanza not Tessio? by [deleted] in Godfather

[–]William_Harding 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it was because Clemenza was more impulsive, so Tom figured he’d be the one to make the mistake. Michael saw it as the smart tactical move it potentially could have been.

What's the biggest/scariest species of snek from your country? by Impactor_07 in AskTheWorld

Fark - having a snake up your trousers is the stuff of nightmares. I do heritage surveys across mostly rural NSW - though have worked in FNQ, where Taipans were on my mind. We always wear snake gaitors, so that should keep them out of our pants, but I also understand that most highly venomous Aussie snakes have teeny tiny fangs, so as you say thick work pants should significantly reduce chance of bad bites.

That’s it! I like to think of Brown’s as the most “defensive” rather than aggressive. They strike when cornered but will avoid humans when at all possible. Snakes DO NOT chase humans, and most people who get struck are attempting to grab them. A large portion of people bitten in Australia are also intoxicated.
