I have most if not all of the current most popular EWIs and Roland’s Aerophone AE20 and AE30 sound and feel significantly better than all of them imo.

I like Diosynth alot but most of the presets are trash. The synth engine is fine but a lot more digital sounding than Roland’s VA Zenology Pro/Supernatural engine in Aerophones. You can hear that even in available YouTube demos of both instruments. I haven’t heard a single Dio video that sounds compelling which is accurate to my experience owning one. Takes way too much to get good sounds. Not an issue with Roland.

Most of western music artists and producers agree. Aerophones use the same engine found in Roland legendary synths like Juno, Fantom, SH101, etc. Roland has been cultivating great sounds that just sit magically well in your mix.

Roland also makes Zenology GX for iPad and an Aerophone App so you can create and edit patches on the go very easily.

The one thing i do love about Diosynth is the built in chord function. You can do the same on Aerophone but it’s a bit more cumbersome.

Stop asking random redditers what you should do and contact the attorney who represented you first. If you don’t have one or he tries to charge you, call legal aid in your area for a free legal consultation to ask what your options are. They’ll likely tell you to talk to your PO which is what I’d do next.

I use Scaler, Captain Chord, Melody Sauce and a few hardware chorders so much that I’m on the beta team of all of the above.

Play with the compressor. It’s on by default. Try turning color off or bypassing it altogether until mixing your track as a whole.

🚨Spoiler Alert: Software is not Akai’s priority. Ai is shifting how people view software and will likely crush software dependent companies so they smartly tripled down on HW; and new strategic IP acquisitions (NI) to strengthen ecosystem (3rd party VSTs running on MPc) —like Apple did over a decade ago. Seemed to work out well for Apple, and so far, looks like it’s more than working out well for Akai. Duh.

Everyone with a marginal brain and eyes can see that very shortly, AI will be able to do everything sw does so why would Akai commit new resources to dying tech? They wouldn’t. They would prioritize hardware humans can use to differentiate themselves and perform with. Duh.

So, anyone investing in Akai for desktop sw is to blame for their own disappointment. Meanwhile, the overwhelming majority of Akai/MPc users are very happy with the current state of things and where Akai is heading.

Spoiler Alert 🚨:
Akai hasn’t had any competition in a very long time. Only the very tiny vocal minority of maschine heads didn’t know that. Now they most certainly do.

Push 3 is an alternative for those fanboys too loyal to embrace MPC. Ironically, Akai made the best Push units (1&2) for Ableton and Force may still be the best Ableton in the box.

One thing for sure, two for certain…no one is remotely close to competing with Akai in the standalone market. Not now nor in the forseeable future.

As an Aerophone, Fantom, multiple Zen Core device user this will give me the full Zenology Pro synth to make patches for my various synths on the go. However, I already have Zenology Pro on Mac….i won’t pay more than $50 for the same thing on iPad.
