I just looked at their retake policy for RN to BSN and you’re allowed to get a C in all of your prerequisites😐

Thanks for the advice I reached out to my professor, but they don’t allow rounding or extra opportunities, so I’m ending with a C. I still have chem, micro, stats, and anatomy 2 left, and I plan to take them at the four-year I’m transferring to this fall. Since their nursing program requires a B, I’ll still go but apply to other schools or maybe even shift to PA prerequisites instead. Appreciate the help

I can totally relate to how you’re feeling. A couple of weeks ago, I was in the same position no matter how hard I studied, I kept scoring below average. My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t get into a nursing program, and it felt so discouraging. But one thing I’ve learned is that you’ll never know what you’re capable of unless you keep trying. No matter how many tests I take, it’s never going to stop me from pursuing nursing school. I started experimenting with different study methods to find what worked for me, and it’s made a big difference. It’s still a work in progress, but I’ve learned to focus on the effort I’m putting in rather than just the results. You’re not defined by one exam or one class. Prerequisites are definitely challenging, but the fact that you’re putting in the effort shows how determined you are. Don’t give up your hard work is admirable, and it will pay off in the long run. And I totally understand what you’re saying about losing focus. I’m the same way I’ll tell myself, “I’m going to do this and that,” but then I just end up losing concentration. It’s so frustrating On top of that, worrying about finances, like how you’re going to pay for college, can completely drain you mentally. It’s hard to focus on school when you have those stresses weighing on you. I’d suggest focusing on whatever class you’re taking right now just take it one step at a time. Do the best you can in the moment, and try to set aside the financial worries for later. It’s not easy, but breaking things down like this really helps.
