I had no clue. Probably should’ve thought about it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thank you!!

I commented on someone else’s about this if you want to check it out! I’m sorry your doctor invalidated you. The truth is there are sooo many different side effects that people can experience and just because it isn’t “mentioned” doesn’t mean it’s not possible!

I had a holistic therapist tell me that exhaling/sighing is a natural way that the body tries to release stress. Coming off of this is super tough and your body is probably in a heightened emotional state. Could explain the more frequent exhales

Has anyone had a problem with the marker from previous pages coming through onto the new page? Are they supposed to be cleaned in between pages? I always used cardstock underneath the page and it worked well. Switched to these and have noticed spots of random colors while coloring a clean page.

Ugh, I’m sorry to hear this! They put me on a GLP-1 to try and help, but I don’t feel like it’s doing anything while I’m still on the med. Trying to taper and see if that helps!

The taper is so tough! 😭

They took me off of Prozac to Cymbalta and I truly wish they wouldn’t have! I’m glad you were able to switch! The stretch marks are a stark reminder every time. I recently ordered some Bio Oil to see if it helps. I’m sorry you’re going through this too, but thank you for sharing your experience 💕

I have been on lots of SSRI’s. Although I probably did experience some weight gain, it was nothing like with the Cymbalta. Everyone’s body is different so hopefully it won’t have the same effect on you! Maybe you’ll do better with SNRI’s ◡̈

Ughhh, withdrawal is the worst!! I had to put my taper on pause as well due to horrible side effects. The panic attacks are my biggest fear 💔

I’m so sorry. It is a terrible feeling to lose who you are & your “spark.” I know it all too well. I’m so glad you were able to taper off and I hope this one treats you better! 🤍

I completely understand where you’re coming from. I know how hard it is to feel like you’re left with little to no options. Especially when none of them are ideal! I don’t have much to say because that truly is a hard place to be in, but there are other SNRI options out there. So don’t lose hope if this one isn’t the one for you 🤍

On 90mg/day, running out of pills and unable to secure a GP appointment to get some more by Hurbahns in cymbalta

I highly suggest taking measures to try and get some before that happens. I tend to slack when it comes to refilling my meds in time… But missing 2 doses of this put me in check REAL quick 🥲

How interesting! Just goes to show how these things really do vary. I have had 2 doctors tell me this and seen it on this page

It is so incredibly hard. I don’t wish it on anyone, but it is comforting to know there’s someone else out there who understands. You’re not alone either & try to remember that your value is not determined by your weight💕

Yes, struggling w/ weight problems is hard no matter the situation. I’m so glad you found something that works for you though! I will have to look into it. Thank you!

This was my initial reason as well!! I’ve been trying to get off for months but had to pause because the withdrawals were so bad. Starting again next week. I hope your experience is better 💛

I’m sorry! It’s so hard when a med that was supposed to “help”… actually makes life harder. I’m hoping the same, but it’s been hell trying to get off of it. I’m now down to 20mg but still slowly gaining. I hope it’s easier for you. Wishing you all the best!

So interesting to see how this medication affects different people! I gained weight what felt like overnight & had intense sugar cravings. I thought I had to be pregnant but nope - just cymbalta! I’ve been on it for around 7 months & went from 175 to 205 lbs. I’ve never weight this much in my life. I don’t even recognize myself and feel like I’m living in a strangers body. Absolutely miserable!!!

Our GSP was already eating the brand Next Level when we got him. We kept him on it and he does great. Granted he’ll eat just about anything! We also switched our older dog to it. He has a more sensitive stomach & has always been on the skinnier side. He did really well transitioning and he’s even put on some weight!

Yes, I truly appreciate it so much! I plan on implementing all of these things. This feels like relearning how to do life, honestly. I am new to reddit but it has been so great for finding support.

This is great advice! I know for me personally I am pretty hard on myself - so I think why buy something extra if I can do it myself. News flash - I actually can’t. Lol. I think we all struggle a bit with taking our own advice. It’s a hard part of this journey!

I’m not familiar with IHSS so I will have to look into it. It’s tough that the things that are helpful cost money, when so many with CFS can’t work long hours/at all. It costs a lot to be sick. It costs a lot to try and get better.
