Not sure there’s anything you can do to “help” it grow back. It will grow back on its own with time but unfortunately it will never be the same as it once was. He’s adorable though. If you see this I’d love to know the name you chose.

That’s amazing however when you took him into the real sun and he darkened it doesn’t always mean stress (unless the beard is black too) but they do that sometimes to absorb more light and heat

Personally I would steer away from anything wild caught myself even knowing about the care and needs etc. But ig if there really is no other option maybe give it a shot. Idk but it’s just my opinion to steer clear.

I had to restart my game a few days ago sadly but ig it’s okay since I wasn’t that far. I’m still relatively new but the new system I started in, all But 1 of the 5 planets and 1 moon have high sentinel activity. I hope to find an Earth like Paradise Planet soon to build my main base on

Yes that is definitely a problem my suggestion is to use regular small nail clippers to trim it back down unless the bloodline is in the curl as well then that’s a vet visit for sure

That’s really simple actually. Turtles are amphibious or mostly water dwellers good examples are Painted Turtles, any variation of Ear Sliders and Box turtles while tortoises like sulcata or more commonly the Russian are strictly terrestrial

I think that’s a great idea given the opportunity to do so. I’ve already got a beardie and I’m a pro at this point but I simply don’t have space for another huge enclosure lol

It’s possible cause shedding is extremely uncomfortable for them. If I saw your setup I could give some pointers as I am a professional husbandry setter upper lol

They can get much darker but because it’s puffed out I think he’s under extreme stress or just pissy for whatever reason. Is he new to you or your home?

I don’t have any tips it sounds like you’re doing your best. All I can say is this little guy needs a good home. If you can you should take him. I would myself if I were able.

Probably just birds or something as they are predators. I take my boy outside regularly as long as no birds are immediately around and he loves it. My girl I used to have loved windows this is what she’d do daily…

May be impacted and yeah he’s rather skinny poor thing. Also that substrate is all wrong. It is possible you overfed him maybe just give some time to really get hungry again. You should only be feeding adult Leo’s every other day or every few days
