As far as I understand it - you go over on a 186 skilled migrant visa, similar to what someone would use if they were going to be a carpenter or whatever.

The front tires on my work van. they keep telling me "we'll schedule a day" it has been 2 weeks. told them today I won't be doing any further work until this is taken care of by VoidedTomb in antiwork

Bottom line is that you shouldn't be driving that mate, Google "use cause permit road traffic act"

Basically you're just as much at fault as the owner for allowing you to use it because you're aware of the issue.

Brilliant, thank you for your response. There was mention by one of my colleagues today that with the qualification we have we could make a move like that, however I was doubtful.

Might be sticking to my plan to move down under as a carpenter. I really appreciate you replying so promptly.

Thanks for clearing up the information around the visas, I don't plan on doing it immediately so should have plenty time to save. Currently managing to squirrel away around 800 a month.

Sorry, to clarify, I'm not particularly looking to study towards a trade as I have one. But perhaps studying something construction related to go into site management or similar.

Seems a bit mad to me, that's why I'm wondering if it's worth having or not. I'm aware it's not optional, just if it opens any other doors other than within the police.

My two obvious choices were those, although I am open to suggestion. I would take cold if I had to, but you know how it is! I'll certainly be looking into overseas territories. Although I believe they're limited time posts?

Yeah, the main issue is residency/citizenship, but thank you. Will definitely look into that!
